Aargh. The writer in me wants to track character development, and that means a timeline. So... either I'll be rather busy over the next few days, or someone else has already done it.

Getting back to the shipping discussion...

I don't really like darker or sad fic type stuff myself. Which is a bit odd, because with the stuff that I have done for the comic is a little darker. Granted, I've been visiting the magical girl elements a bit there and from what I've seen of the genre, it tends not to be particularly innocent, so maybe I was doomed from the start.

And for some reason, Gummy gives me the impression that he's stoned. Yea, there's pretty much zero chance of that in canon, but that doesn't stop him from giving me that vibe.

Anyway, this is a bit later than usual, but the big softie in me needed a bit of indulgence. I deal a lot of abuse out to Twilight in my drawings, so today I decided to do a drawing of of my OC apologizing to her◊.

If you frequent Equestria Daily, you might've seen this game already. If not...

Basically... Someone made an 8-bit NES-style MLP game, starring Apple Bloom. Despite only using one button, it's surprisingly good, and faithfully replicates the limitations of the NES hardware right down to the palettes and music. It's short, but sweet.

And It Gets Worse. Just... Just play it. The effect is best if you're not spoiled. I kid you not. The FEAR games never came close to scaring me like this game did.

Oh, you think it's all sunshine and rainbows? Haha. Cupcakes ain't got shit on this.

It's amazing how scary it is despite being 8-bit, the visuals for the zombie ponies and the corpse remind me of the visual style of the Chzo Mythos games, especially Trilby's Notes - it's basically that, plus Silent Hill meets My Little Pony. It's minimalistic, but creepy as FUCK. Less is more, indeed.

Alright, I will outline this horrid, worse-than-Cupcakes story I mentioned a few pages ago.

It's called "Sweet Apple Massacre". Basically, the Cutie Mark Crusaders get kidnapped, tortured, raped and slaughtered by Big Macintosh. Gruesome descriptions abound. When the line, "Looks like hour special talent is getting raped! Eeyup!" you know bad shit is about to go down.

Horrific as that sounds, the idea of someone as awesome as BIG FUCKING MACINTOSH raping people made me burst out laughing a bit

The author has written another fic which, now that I think about it, is probably worse. I cannot recall the title, but there is raping and foetus-eating.

Time to add this fucker to the hall of shame.

In Green Isn't Your Color, you can see Rarity's Gala dresses on a rack while they're at the park photo shoot.

Also I think Rainbow Dash's headgear is awarded to her in Sonic Rainboom.

^^Oh, you can? I'll have to go check that; it was a flimsy reason for putting "Suited" behind "Green" anyway, so I'm glad to correct it.

Rarity made Dash's Gala headpiece, though. It's included in 'Art of the Dress'.

^I know, which is why I'm an idiot for trying to timeline an episodic series. I think it works pretty well right now, though...

The headgear is iffy, she puts it together, but she had the leaves from somewhere, they could have come from the award in Sonic Rainboom.

It is pretty flimsy though, it's not like there can't be other gold leaves in the world.

And don't worry about it, people still try to put the Simpsons in order.
