Incidentally I was reading some comments on The Huffington Post and saw a couple that referred to MSNBC as 20% more something than Fox News and immediately thought of Rainbow
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who associates "20%" with Dash now.

There's less of Rainbow in this depiction of the logo, but she's still there.

I don't really like the more crowded renditions of it; I edited their page just to put a more spartan logo on there.

[up]Pinkie probably Epped when she saw Trixie and spent the episode making her a party only for hr to Skip town at the end leading Pinkie to think "no pony loves" me and slip into depression. After which she starts planing to make fluttershy into a Good Will cupcake only to learn Trixie was a Bad Ponie and imediatly decided to turn the bad egg into a good cupcake...

And that's why we will never see Trixie again.

Hahaha, it is fun for me to imagine that Pinkie Pie and Trixie have a sordid history between them, and that's why Pinkie didn't attend the magic show...

Well yeah you know what they say. Even the good stuff bores. And even honey palls

It's a good thing they are somewhat balanced :) otherwise we would be bored of dash already!

Dashie might get those logo inserts, but I noticed they used Pinkie exclusively for that summer fun ad and she's the only one with a speaking/singing part in Equestria Girls.

Also, here's the last sketch for Eventua's ponies: Zanjuyn.

My computer definitely wasn't as up and running as I thought it was before, as I had to do a bunch of work on it again. Looks like I'm finally operational for sure, though, so I can get to work on that comic page tomorrow. OCs are fun, but I have a hankering to draw the main six again.

Oh and to ressurect an old joke from earlier in the thread: You know you're a brony when you name your new computer TwilightSparkle. tongueevil grin

You know it kind of bugs me that they didn't really try to promote the show until after the season wrapped up

[up][up]Haha, oops, thanks for noticing that. Should have that fixed pretty quick.

Edit: Ok, fixed. Those who have already seen it may need to force a refresh to get the browser to show the new version.

[up][up]They probably weren't expecting much from the show, given the way they buried it in a crappy timeslot. Actually my biggest concern about the show going forward is that the execs will try to be more active in the show now that its popular.

That's probably because the hub isn't to keen on seeming to girly, notice their no Josie, or Stawbery shortcake in the Hubbles only Boys's shows...and Rainbow Dash...

And androgynous shows (like The WotWots, which is from what I know more babbling nonsense in the vein of Teletubbies)

I'm glad this thread has about 400x more posts than every other thread in this section.

Hi, everypony. I'm pretty new to the fandom - finishing the last three episodes tomorrow or the night after, probably - but it's kind of scary how radically it's taken hold of me. I'm okay with it, though.

I watched the first episode just now. It doesn't seem to be the type of thing I could get into, but the writing really surprised me at how well-thought-out it was. Lauren Faust is a genius. I might watch more of it someday, but for now I've got too many other shows on my watchlist that I'm more anxious to see.

Also, from what I saw, Fluttershy is my favorite character, no contest.

So on a topic involving both ponies and Summer of Sonic, my girlfriend ended up finding out a few things thanks to the shirt she made to wear for the con (her own pic design):

  • MLP hasn't caught on in Japan yet. When she was in queue for autographs, Yuji Naka himself was confused by the shirt design. He even asked Iizuka, word-for-word, "Rainbow Dash desu ka?", supposedly because he may have been more familiar than Naka when it came to pop culture. Iizuka could only pretty much go "I dunno".
  • There is a surprising amount of Sonic fans who are also MLP fans. The above story is spreading like wildfire in the UK community right now.
If you wish to know, you only need to ask.
