@ Arha: Someone posted a link the other day to a site where some guy (I think) was making all kinds of claims supporting his theory that FIM is satanic, including the name "Faust". I was discussing it on another (non-TV Tropes) board, and we came to the conclusion that it was just too over-the-top to be real.

I like to think that Angel is the literal personification of all of Fluttershy's assertiveness and confidence. He becomes a normal bunny again during moments like near the ending of Dragonshy

Really, just about any time you see this sort of thing, it's fake. I'm a Christian, and these things are always PAINFULLY obviously not written by an actual Christian. I really wish people would stop writing them...

Also, I don't know if the show keeps it up, but I do appreciate that show doesn't try to force her to spend time with her friends all the time. That kind of message always bugs me a little, so it's good to see it averted.

Yeah, it's pretty good about that. There are quite a few episodes that show the cast going about their own business. As somebody who needs a fair bit of time to myself, I can definitely appreciate that the show doesn't go with the "you should be with everybody else all the time" message.

I just think he's way too bossy towards Fluttershy. Yeah, sometimes she needs a shove in the right direction, but others he's just being rude.
