Since we're talking about issues: I worry a lot about being misunderstood. Sometimes I'll edit a post 5 or 6 times just to make sure no one gets offended or gets the wrong idea.

There's an album I absolutely love. I have for over 20 years. It finally came out on CD a few months ago. I wanted to share my love of this album with my sister, so I burned a copy for her. Last time I saw her, I asked her how she liked it. She gave a one-word review: "Eh."

Much as I'm disappointed that she didn't like it, I'm not going to let it affect my love for this album one bit. I guess what I'm trying to say here, Ginger, is that you should never let other peoples' opinions affect the way you feel about something you love. For example: You love Megasweet. I don't. So what? Love away, man.

@Ginger: That's a good choice (whoever made it), especially if you contrast it with the black king Lelouch would totally have. They both represent leadership, but the black would be more deceptive, behind the scenes style with the white king being out in the open, using ones charisma to command respect.

The chess piece looks better on the full image, but it got a little blurry when shrunk down to avatar size.

Also, it's starting to bug me that you can't see his other ear.

@Ginger: Yeah, you don't need any validation. If you like a character, you like them and whether other people like them or not doesn't matter.

Dang it, Ginger, now you've gone and reminded me of the chess scene in Code Geass. CHESS DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY.

Now, as for ponies. I think it would be interesting for a Unicorn to be forced to do things with their hooves and mouth, since they tend to rely on telekinesis for everything. They'd probably be really clumsy.

I read somewhere that the executives thought it would be to difficult for children to understand that Dark is Not Evil. Sounds like a depressingly plausible excuse for her lack of appearance.

Personally I hope we get a Celestia themed episode at some point, followed by her taking vacation, with Luna taking over letter reading duties for the rest of the season from that point on. "Dear princess Luna..."

@Blue I suggested the Chess piece, but I had to think SO LONG over it. Originally, I didn't want him to have a mark AT ALL. (To reflect the fact that he lacks ambition)

@Syd My phone was acting funny false alarm

Twilight was fairly handy with balancing while drinking from the mug of cider last episode, though. It'd still be cute to see her have to fumble around with things, though. =D
