Apple cider has more of a tang than regular juice. it's also richer and fuller-bodied. Though I do enjoy alcoholic cider as well. Especially pear cider.

ALL of. I guarentee it. My PARENTS were astounded and confused when I mentioned the concept of Soft Cider to them.

I love either Pear, or Strawberry Cider

Soft cider tastes VERY different than apple juice. Some even put spices in it to make it stronger! Great for Winter weather.

If the Apple Family, upon losing the competition, reminded everypony that they only had bet the rights to making cider, and not the rights to the farm itself, and proceeded to close the farm to everyone, including the Brothers. Good luck finding enough apples to turn a profit now, jerks.

@ Enlong That would put the Brothers in there place, but the apples would still lose the cider proftits they need to survive the winter anyway.

The problem was that the Brothers were asking for such an outrageous profit margin. A 25/75 split in favor of the brothers is ridiculous. There wouldn't have been a problem if there was a more equitable split. I mean the Apple family doesn't sell their own Zap Jelly. Someone does that for them.

It ain't Frothy Mugs of Water because it wasn't changed from an alcoholic drink to a non-alcoholic one. It's just apple cider. You can even see it being made: straight from pressed apples to the cups, so there's no time for it to be alcoholic.

And yeah, hot spiced cider is pretty nice. Boil it in a pot with some cinnamon and nutmeg and such...
