They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Wow, Rainbow is epic-failing at this. Come on girl, you can fly at Mach 5. How are you not at the front of the line?

It’s highly probable that Satan has chosen [Lauren] Faust to be his modern-day emissary of evil. The signs are clear.
How old would you say the Flim Flams are?
They called AJ a filly, but that could just be them being arrogant

I'd say early to mid thirties.
I had assumed he was trying to say it like 'young lady'. Buuuuut I'd say maybe mid-twenties, late-twenties?
I'd actually pin them as younger than Applejack...

Ok, plot hole. The bet they made was that the winner would have exclusive rights to cider making in Ponyville. So how come the Apples just hand over the farm when they lose? They still own the land, and still have the rights to farm apples!

Because the profits from Cider is the only thing keeping them afloat through the winter. Without it, they go bankrupt, and Flim and Flam know that.

Remember what they said earlier on. They NEED the money they get from selling cider to stay afloat during winter.
If they lost the rights to produce cider then they would've gone bankrupt eventually. They were just getting the whole thing over with as quickly an as painlessly as possible
