Well, in my country of Canada, the two shows share the same network, Treehouse TV, which shows preschooler shows only...you should already know my complaints by now. This is a network that broadcasts to millions across Canada, and it shows me that they think it's appropriate for one to show after the other even though neither one should be within eye contact with each other. Knowing the fandom, I thought everybody would reject this, but then I see one guy that likes both and would approve, and it all comes falling down from there.

I don't see the connection. This show is for kids at it's core. No helping that. So what if it shares a network with a crap show? Every good show shares with bad shows. I don't like Jem and the Holograms, but I'm still going to watch Transformers Prime regardless of whether or not someone approves of both being on The Hub.

I remember in like elementary school it was cool to hate Barney.

Now I basically just ignore it. It's totally not targeted me, so I don't really worry about it. Like Raptor said, every good show is going to share a network with crap. MLP's quality has nothing to do with what other shows are on the network.

Barney is usually seen as the stereotypical "Kids show that treats the viewers like morons".

Learn to roll with it. I'm disappoint people forgot the second half of Love and Tolerate.

Also, AJP, as a Sonic fan, I didn't like the excessive cheese they put into Heroes either. Don't hate on the whole fandom because of the vocal and annoying fandumb.

As for Barney, I still think of it as "Inappropriate for all ages"

That still doesn't answer the question of why you seem to care way too much about what one random guy thinks. Why do you care at all? You don't like stuff made for pre-schoolers, and that's all that should matter to you. Now, as for the network, there are other options for watching the show, if you're willing to look for them.

@Ace: Exactly. If people like some stuff that I think is stupid, hey, more power to them. They're able to enjoy something that I can't. No problem with that unless they try to shove it in my face, and that's a problem with the fan, not the show. So basically, don't blame the show for the stupidity of the fans.

Distraction time! Back to ponies: Is there anything you'd really want to do in Equestria beside giving ponies hugs and cuddles?

I'd want to see the sights, learn all the interesting bits, and figure out how do do all sorts of things without hands.

Seriously, you know hard it already is to do precision machining with steady hands, how about trying it with hooves?

I'm sure Twi is alreadys willing to give educational lectures. I can imagine her starting a lecture class on something or other, only instead of other ponies attending, she gets a class full of bronies
