When I first started watching, Fluttershy was my least favorite character. It didn't help that the first two episodes I saw were Over a Barrel and A Bird In The Hoof. Anyway, I liked Fluttershy a lot better after watching Stare Master.

So....Is there anyway to jump back to your first post in a thread? I am geting hit by Nostalgia Filter big time.

Raptor, one thing. Please DO NOT seek to lecture me on shyness. There's nothing I detest more than a person who immediately seeks the moral high ground without knowing a thing about me. I know what shyness is, hell, I've lived with debilitating social anxiety since age 5. I STILL freeze up in unfamiliar situations and around strangers after 24 years. On top of that, I have quite an impressive inferiority complex with which I struggle nearly every waking hour. This inferiority complex was born as a result of living with undiagnosed ADD for 12 years and dealing with mild cerebral palsy, leading to a delay in speech which got me teased incessantly and branded as stupid. I also have a healthy dose of self loathing resulting from my inability to cope with either my social anxiety or my inferiority complex. So please, don't speak to me of the loathe you have for people who don't care for adorably shy characters.

I spent a good two hours trying to convert this into a spray for TF2 last night. Finally succeeded, at around 4:00 AM... is there a good way to make animated sprays that doesn't involve using Photoshop? I ended up having to use this in conjunction with GIMP to make it a workable spray.

Anyway, I was trawling through my fanfics folder in my email, and I realized I haven't read most of them. I need to spend more time working on those. Anyone having similar problems?

Personally speaking, I don't know if I have a least favorite in the mane six. I know Twilight, Rarity, and Applejack on top in my opinion. Dash, Shy, and Pinkie are al awesome, too. The closest I might have a least fave is Dash, and that's just because I find watching someone get too big on themselves very hard to watch.

Pinkie and Applejack are my current least faves.

@ storyyeller: I grew up with a few too many Jerk Jock types. It's one of my personal things. Sometimes her behavior strikes a bit too close to some I've met, but she's still awesome. Watching Gilda, though was like rewatching a bully I actually knew.

@Raptor: Welcome. I can feel you on the shyness thing; I barely talked until high school when I finally got comfortable with my group of friends, and then when I went to college my social standing basically got reset and I ended up as the "the guy who never talks" again. There were quite a few people who assumed that I had some sort of superiority complex when I just never felt like I had anything worth contributing to the conversation. Sucks to get those sorts of assumptions.

Still, at the same time extreme shyness like Fluttershy's is still a valid character flaw though.

Well I might as well quit posting here altogether then, considering I seem to respond to you more than anyone else.

Subject of shyness: I was really, really bad when I was a kid. And in highschool I was such a huge asshole. People reached out to me, tried to be friendly all the time, and I would always shoot them down. Glad I forced myself out of that mindset.

That is not a good thing to assume. Especially on the internet.

I don't think sarcasm works that well on the 'net. For every sarcastic post I come across I'll find a dead serious one with questionable content. It gets kinda hard to tell.

Rarity and RD having the same flaws? ...Are we watching the same show because their flaws are pretty different.
