one of the biggest Sit-Coms ever. pretty much was the standard that all other comedies were held to for quite a long time.

Made in the 1950s. Also had the first interracial couple on tv (white cuban)

Well, I've been reading Fallout Equestria lately (Thank you, Kindle, you're a godsend), and I'm kind of finding it hit-or-miss. I do actually agree with Ginger on several points, really. The Pre-War Equestria is almost ridiculously grim. Basically pretty much everypony gets a ton more cynical. The Pegasi take a serious level in Jerkass , and suddenly Equestria becomes a military superpower(!). And that's not even getting to the fact that we seem to be in THE FUTURE despite taking place at around at most 50-60 years after the 'series'.

That being said, the writing really is quite good, and the characters are fairly well rounded. Calamity's probably my favorite character. The world is pretty well thought through, barring several inconsistencies with the Canon.

ALSO WHY FOR THE LOVE OF FAUST DOES Celestia HAVE TO SUFFER SUCH A TRAGIC FATE. GAAAAAAAH.
