@Ginger: I don't think so. Earth Ponies who are interested in farming would learn from their families or another group of farmers. Those who aren't interested in farming don't need to know.

Honestly their powers probably come naturally to them, I doubt they need much training. I think its more of a passive ability.

Regarding the car costs, lemme put it this way: the car's last estimated worth was $13000, and the repair cost quote was $19000. We're not going to be getting anything worthwhile from whatever offer they're going to make in regards to the check, my insurance will go up, and I likely won't be able to get another car due to being close to broke.

If you wish to know, you only need to ask.

Sigh, I just want to label the EP's as a race of Badass Normals (it would sit much better in my head) but I can't. They have JUST enough passive magic to disqualify them, which in my opinion just makes it worse.

That's a fair point, I suppose, but I still don't see why such things wouldn't exist in Equestria. However, if they instinctually know how to care for plants, that would actually make them a bit redundant.

@Ginger: Their only power is a very mundane, nearly indistinguishable ability. It certainly doesn't help them out in a dangerous situation. I think they count as Badass Normal.

Wait. In the last roundup's synopsis it mentions that AJ goes missing after a rodeo being held in canterlot.

... 2 questions:

1.) What kind of Canterlot citizens would go to see something as uncouth as a rodeo?
2.) What kinds of animals will they be using for this rodeo anyway?
