To be fair, Applejack is a silly pony and probably didn't catch any implications. In the real world, animals lick stuff off each other all the time and it never means anything.

Eh, personally I don't have Yuri goggles when I watch MLP. I save those for Strawberry Shortcake (then again, for that show you hardly need Yuri goggles... the characters might as well all be wearing signs that say "I'm a lesbian!" for how obvious they are)

Actually, for whatever reason, the mane six strike me as completely aromantic—they just don't have romantic bones in their bodies, or if they do, we haven't seen them yet (I know people are gonna mention Rarity, but keep in mind she sees marriage more as a business opportunity than anything).

This won't prevent me from putting romance in fanfics, however, and actually the complete lack of any indication of it in the show proper makes it more interesting.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again: 'Ginger is totally tsundre for Pinkie.'

Weakest episode? I'm going with MMDW as well; RD got Flanderized pretty badly, and while I though the basic idea of the episode was cool, it wasn't executed well. Not to mention the whole "Ponyville as disaster zone" thing just didn't feel right.

My other weak episodes are "Cutie Mark Chronicles" and "Over a Barrel". In CMC I didn't find any of the flashbacks that interesting aside from Twilight and Pinkie's because we didn't really learn much about the characters. I mean, of course AJ isn't going to stay in Manehattan. Although Rarity's flashback to finding a ROCK was hilarious, despite being predictable.

For "Over a Barrel", I think it's that the mane cast was only tangentially related to the plotline; I didn't find the new characters particularly interesting, so the part of the episode I enjoyed most was the stuff on the train in the beginning.

Not to say that any of these episodes are actually bad, (I enjoyed all of them) but they just seem a bit lackluster compared to the others.

And as far as the Getting Crap Past the Radar page, the main issue seems to be whether or not implied stuff should be added. I mean, everybody can agree that stuff like "Apple-teeny" counts, but with a lot of the other stuff it comes down to "did the writers intend this, or are the fans just dirty-minded".

Really? I just thought Pinkie's flashback was asinine and REALLY shook my willing suspension of disbelief

(I agree that Twi's was the most interesting though)
