So what are the guidelines for making and using Sockpuppets? It looks fun, but I'm a bit nervous to join in.

Also, if an account is deleted, can it be recreated?

So I just got around to watching that second Fox video and I don't see what all the fuss is about. Even given the usual Fox misrepresenting everything schtick, it came across as more cute and naive to me. It's like watching some kid on a forum discovering how to troll for the first time: it's amateur, lacks finesse and he/she thinks he/she is better than he/she is, but it's cute. I certainly don't understand what about it would drive people to write angry letters, though (Seth made a comment about them in the ED nightly news post).

Yeah, I think the Fox video was actually not that bad. Sure they make fun of it, but it's in a relatively positive light compared to what they could have done. I think people are just too sensitive after some of the radio shows.

There is one iron rule: you are not allowed to have more than 10 accounts.

If you are not sure about how good will you fit the role, try visiting some freeform RP threads as a potential sockpuppet character and see how good it works. For example the We Are Our Avatars

thread: just grab an avatar and try.

So, the american media is starting to take intrest in us. I wonder how long it will be before Jon Stewart mentions Bronies on The Daily Show? I know he has small children so I wouldn't be surprised if he's already familiar with the show.

It's only a matter of time before a clip from the show starts making the rounds on national television. So if you could chose any 30 second segment to have braodcast into every home in america, what would it be?

That's a tough one. Maybe the cold opening to Sonic Rainboom? That's gotten big d'aws from just about everyone I've shown it to. I'll have to give it more thought otherwise.

I know a lot of people think the opening theme is Tastes Like Diabetes, but I have a real fondness for it. It helps that it starts out like any other commercial-style singing but gets rocked up.

At first when I tried to create an account it said that it worked, but when I try to log in, it says the login combination is invalid. And now whenever I try to create an account it just says "sorry, only one account allowed per ip"

Also, the unknower doesn't work for me. It seems like I have to manually delete all my cookies.

Are you sure you got the combination right?
I do not notice any limits on simultaneous logins: I am right now logged on both the main and a sockpuppet in separate browsers.

They put in a new "no more than one account per IP address" rule after a bunch of spammers filled the wiki with shit; anyone who had more than one already is presumably grandfathered in.

I love that chapter as it helps me define White Rose in her own setting a bit better, White rose wasn't banished but she did have to cut all ties with family and friends to protect the Glade.
