... Huh. So I missed ol' baba-boy, eh? Ah well. Nothing of value was lost.

I'm looking forward to the Valentine's episode a little more now that I've read the new info. Sounds interesting.

And status update: car is going to be looked at tomorrow morning to determine whether or not it should be totaled. I don't think it should be, but everyone else has doubts considering that it was a pretty bad accident.

@Rich: Oh, so you did. Sorry, I'd forgotten.

@JTeeth: I know, right? That definitely creeped me out a little - especially Pound crawling on the ceiling, which had to be a Parental Bonus shoutout to Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl (by way of Sadako in particular).

Thanks, keg. I don't quite know what it is - I don't consider myself an extrovert, but I definitely like being around people, up to a certain (usually very definite) point.

Can you think inside the chimney?

Well, we don't want it to be too bad. It should still be in good fun, you know, so people still want to do it.

[up]it may be just something strange about me. I'm okay with people, but there are just times when I can't handle being around someone, and I need to be on my own. It's worse lately, but that might have to do with having roommates that never leave, because we're all weighed down with homework most of the time.

I wish I could be on my own at some point. I'm either at work surrounded by people who I'm either cleaning up after, or whose jobs I end up doing because they don't give a shit and I'm the one responsible for making sure everything gets done, while also being one of the stores main troubleshooters for whatever random issue comes up elsewhere. Or at home with drunks, morons, moochers, idiots, and other assorted family that see me as nothing more then an emergency cash supply...and troubleshooter for whatever issues come up none of them are mentally able to handle.

@Applelight: Thanks. waii

@Kegisak: Yeah, I can be the same way. I almost went insane a few times while I was at college because I just couldn't get away from everybody. I'd usually just go out for a walk around the campus with my ipod, but if it was raining I was basically screwed. I spent a pretty big chunk of time hiding in library with my computer just to get some peace and quiet.

[up] No probs! grin

[up][up] I'm sorry to hear that. sad

Man... yeah, you need to move out, Seraph. I think I'd go insane after a while, start avoiding home as much as possible. Hell, I almost fell into that in a couple of the worse terms myself.

I live within easy walking distance of the train line, so I can at least just hop a train and go hang out somewhere if it gets too bad. But in heavier terms and times I'm pretty much working non-stop, and so are my roommates, so you have three stressed out people, two of whom don't always get along... it's not a fun situation. You just need to get away some times, go for a nice quiet walk.

Ooh! No, I hadn't! Did the exam you were taking have to do with that?

It's sort of ironic, actually, considering that I hope to move to europe for at least a little while in a few years.

Also I have a much bigger problem at the moment, which addiction do I feed, keep reading Fallout Equestria, or get on World of Warcraft and get tonight's raid going......

Nah, it's just that a BA degree will earn me points needed to qualify as a skilled worker.

Atm, I'm on 54...I need 67, and this degree will give me 15. Improving my French will also give me an additional 4.

After that...I just need about £10, 000. tongue

And if your heading to Europe...Paris is great...as is Italy.

Rome and Florence are both really cool, for the record. Greece is also pretty cool if you know where to go. The monasteries at Meteora are freaking amazing. Istanbul is also a really awesome city.

Bare in mind...Greece has serious problems atm.

Oh, might I also recommend Ireland!

I'm also recommending Greece. Of course I haven't been there since the late eighties or 1990, but it was fantastic when I was there. I know it it is not Europe, but if you ever have the chance, try going to Morocco.

Mm... if I worked in quebec for long enough to learn french that would get me closer to working in france... though Quebecois is distinct from Parisian. And italy seems like a really great place to live.

I'm looking to work, keep in mind, so I'd have to be able to live there well - Greece would be a really nice place, but the economy is... not so conducive to working. I don't even know what studios there are in Greece.. Ireland seems like it could be a good place, as would Scotland... honestly there's a lot of places I'd like to at least visit. Maybe the pay will be good enough that I can vacation. Hah! Not likely, not for a while at least

Someone here asked for a critique of a story; it was on gdocs, so I downloaded it (easier to do it in the story then about the story; gave a few pointers ("this doesn't need to be here"; "that's sort of redundant", "this way would read smoother like this") and he ended up using practically all of my suggestions. I might even be able to find it.
