@Ginger: Kickboxing. I'd put a strong kickboxer up against a number of my sempai in Shotokan karate.

@Ginger I once saw a film which had a martial artist take on this big brute. The martial artist did a ton of showy moves, but the brute just punched him in the face and K.O. him in one, so Boxing can beat other sports.
The internet is the realm of chaos, but not all chaos is evil.
I imagine boxers would be very weak against grappling.
Is cutest plushie.
^If skill is equal (at the very peak)... huh. I don't know. I want to say karate because I know a lot more about it than about boxing, but I really couldn't say.

It honestly just deepends on the skill of the two pepole. Both styles have strengths and both have weaknesses it's up to the pepole to use or counter those to their advantage.
Yeah, the only inherent weakness in boxing that it's weak on the kicks, hence why AJ goes with kickboxing instead of regular boxing.
^AJ would never pick a martial art that wouldn't let her use her legs.

I'm pretty sure boxing also suffers from the same thing any sport fighting style does, that sport fighting is inherently different than actual fighting, so they don't train to handle dirty fighters.
Is cutest plushie.
Not to mention the issues that their lack of fingers would bring up.
^Doesn't kickboxing also use a traditional boxing stance? Maybe a bit wider to allow for kicks?
