ah, well, it's a bit complicated. I'm sure pony culture has certain unwritten 'rules', right? Well, one of our 'rules' is that people aren't allowed to like things that weren't made with them, or at least their sort of group, in mind.

Twilight, when a human grows up, society has expectations of them, as I'm sure ponies have in Equestria. Fox News is implying that people who like MLP are breaking those expectations and leeching off what we refer to as 'welfare.'

Why would someone care what a different person likes? I mean, does this wellfare really mean that much?

Because we like using silly things as excuses to feel superior.

weeell...welfare is other peoples money. Now, mostly people aren't too upset about being forced to share (though they don't like it), because it's for stuff they consider big, like being disabled - reasonable stuff, you know. People we need to take care of.

As for what people like...well, it's weird. Like I said, it's just sort of a rule. It's not a law, or anything, but it's just sort of accepted that certain people like certain things, and a lot of people don't like it when things that they accept don't mesh with the way things actually are.

Twilight, there are things about humans that you ponies would dispise. If you judged us by those things alone, I'm sure Princess Celestia would order a pruge of us to protect Equestria.

But...

There is great good in humans. You ponies have given us another way to express it.

If the princess ever has any doubts about humans, please show her this video

Alright, finished up a little earlier today, but I think I rushed the perspective on a few things, since I've run out of time to draw for the rest of the day. Anyway, it's a good thing I'm learning to curb myself. What I originally envisioned would probably fill 3 comic pages.

After I read that story, Cupcakes I think it was, I kinda leared that humans enjoy writing stories. Even if those stories aren't always true.

Though I'd STILL like a word with whatever person wrote that. Poor Pinkie Pie... she was so upset after I told her about it, she nearly stopped eating cupcakes altogether.

@Anon: I'm kind of winging it, but basically everything canon Twilight knows, plus a telekinetic energy burst attack (part 3) and a couple flame based projectiles (I put a hadoken equivalent in part 2 and something of a small instant flame explosion in part 4).

@Twilight: You've already encountered another copy of yourself, yes? So theoretically it could be possible for you to encounter a not so nice version of yourself too, right? EDIT: Adding that I'd never like an evil version of my favourite pony more than the original to make things clear.

EDIT: @Fallen Hehe, well, I don't really have the beginning of the story, perse. Since I'm doing this as part of the training grounds, I'm winging it a bit, so I jump right into the battle, which so far takes place over 4 pages:

• Twilight in trouble.◊
• Friends to the rescue!◊
• Evil Twilight isn't done yet.◊

Also, because of the way training grounds has worked, I ended up drawing something I envision to be at the end of the conflict◊.
