Just a note that I originally created it entirely to keep in touch with the Alumni group from the June 2011 NATG on Eq D, so it's completely dominated by ponies (although my actual site itself is kind of in a similar condition, since I changed providers a bit back and haven't gotten around to re-uploading any of my old stuff... and I'm kind of iffy on its quality now that I have a lot more experience with both drawing and writing...).

Ace: Dealing with online competitive gaming trash talk and forum trash talk has basically done the same for me. It falls off of me like Ponyville off of Big Mac.

Guys, please don't do a rage quit cascade. We are friends here. Friends fall out, but that is no reason to up sticks and leave the thread. It just makes everyone feel worse, even yourself. Instead, solve the problem with kind words.

I understand that, I just think some people are acting rashly. If you want to leave, fine, but don't do it RIGHT after something else, do it if it feels right to you, and that can take time.

Anyway... Ginger, I don't think you were the actual tipping point. I won't lie and say that you probably didn't contribute to his decision, but if you're upset about it, then turn those feelings into strengthened resolve to tolerate others' opinions. You shouldn't feel bad, but if you do, then work to change that feeling, basically.

Either way, don't leave! We'd miss you.

Well, it wasn't a BIG thing. He came into our college at the request of our lecturer. (the two are really good friends) She said that we couldn't continue with our Final Major Project unless we had his blessing to do so (it was to get us used to the insanely harsh tone that professionals are likely to throw at us when we enter the industry)

I was one of the only two people in our class to recieve his blessing (as well as him personally saying that he was extremely impressed with my concepts). Hearing that from a bigwig wo verbally destroyed my classmates made me feel lucky as all hell.
