I just wanna GET ALONG with the new guy, but I have almost NO common ground with him.

I think the episodes focussing on two pony dynamics are my favourite. Fall Weather Friends, Look Before You Sleep I really liked all of them.

And of course I can't wait for the TwiDash episode.

You both like ponies and that other thing (probably one of those Anime or something I don't know).

Another good one. That's the episode that made me admit that MAYBE Pinkie wasn't completely terrible.

@Ginger: I like all the characters in CG. It's my favorite anime.

Who...? JK, I know who your talking about. I thought his contribution to the plot was entertaining, and that he served as a good tool to show more of Lelouch's personality. That's about as much as you can expect from such a minor character.

What? Rainbow wasn't a jerk in that episode. She was just pulling some harmless pranks. She was WAY too quick to abandon her friendship with Gilda though.

But she did lie when she said they weren't intended for Gilda to make herself look blameless.

The amount of Gilda support in this thread (even if it's just absence of Gilda hate) makes me happy.

Yes, yes, I know, but no one in the history of the universe will ever convince me that Pinkie's motives for hosting that party were pure.

She was directing her towards some of the pranks, and since it was Gilda's party, OF COURSE she'd be the one opening the gifts

What makes you think its a lie? I think the evidence points the other way. All through the ep, Rainbow was pranking people but she never pranked anyone more than once. AND she held off pranking Fluttershy when Pinkie objected, and agreed with her that they shouldn't. If you watch the Humiliation Conga scene, Rainbow starts out yelling out suggestions which cause Gilda to blunder into her pranks, but after a few she stops and actually looks a bit sheepish, like it went farther than she meant it too. I think it really was an accident.

To clarify, she certainly meant for SOME of the pranks to hit Gilda, but not all of them.

Yeah Rainbow was lying to cover for herself or Pinkie. If she's lying for Pinkie it's an example of Loyalty I guess.

Vanilla Lemon Drops, Gilda makes a beeline for them, they were the only tampered food. As long time friends Rainbow would know what food she likes. Rainbow then directed her to the dribble cup. Who else would open presents at a party for Gilda and who else would blow out the candles on her cake?

...no...she wasn't. The whole point of that scene was that Gilda was paranoid and unjustly accusing Pinkie of doing things she wasn't.

@Blue Again, I think it was all a part of Pinkie's machinations to fuck with Gilda.

Evening, everyone. Griffon the brush-off? It was enjoyable, although I think it was rather abrupt the way Dashie decided to quit Gilda. Reminded me a bit of an actual fallout I had with a friend of mine over the sheer amount of recreational drugs he did.

Taking things back a little bit, I suppose my element would be kindness or if I were to have a custom one, alienation.
