I actually like these tumblr. Stalkerloo, Dr. Adorable... They're interesting because they manage to keep the characterization, and add some to make something completly different.

Some of these Alternate Universe Tumblrs are pretty amusing, but I like Ice Pack, Velvet, and Littlepip best of the tumblrs.

@Mio: I can see what you mean, and it's true that we're intended to draw connections, but the connections only work one way - that is, Molestia acts like Celestia most of the time even when she's creeping on her subjects, and JJ never once implies that Celestia actually acts like that.

I really like the Ask Twilight one (and everyone was surprised! ). Actually, I used to follow a second that had this really nice watercolour style, but she stopped posting.

I also quite like Dr Adorable (although I haven't quite caught up on it yet). Might be some slight personal bias there, though, since the artist's an ATGer.

I also really like the Ask Twilight Sparkle one as well as Dr. Adorable, Ask the Pie Sisters, Carrot Top's Garden and of course Ask Diane Pie and its spinoff starring Skylight Sparkle (who is best AU!Pony)

@Red: Exactly, Trollestia stuff doesn't bug me much as long as it's understood that it's separate from canon. When people explain stuff in the actual show with "well, it's because Celestia is a troll" I just facepalm.

Hmm. . .I guess I can see that, though I can't say I feel the same way. Oh, well I never liked Tumblrs, I've never been able to figure out exactly why.

I don't really follow any of them; I usually ignore them for a month or so and then do an Archive Binge.

Roughly how I do it as well.

Diane Pie's universe is actualy fascinating though. I keep wanting to find out more about it.

On a different subject do you think that if (and that is a big if) Luna returns she will have actually made progress in adjusting to modern times, or will she become even louder and her speech even more antiquated?

I've retreated to the privacy of my room and to my personal mini-rig netbook, bought on the cheap with an obsolete, underpowered, yet still more than enough to run Windows XP smoothly, atom CPU, since it's late and my parents don't like me to trope through the Witching Hours of the night.

I can't wait for more pony this Saturday. Also, I suspect Luna will wean herself off the Royal Canterlot Voice.

Just out of curiosity: How exactly did Molestia meme formed? I haven't seen Celestia being that abusive to anypony(or Spike). I'm not following MLP fandom that closely though, so perhaps there is an answer to that that I don't know.

Somebrony make picture of Celestia looking at Twilight in same creepy way Twilight looked at Scoot in Lesson Zero (but with implication of molestiation) and Trixie comented in backgroud that it her fetish. I think it was first picture.

Dark interpretations are fun as long as they don't become canon.

Although I don't really think drugs or alcohol are all that dark, as subject matter goes. Fluttershy being high on catnip would actually be kind of cute (have you seen cats on catnip?)

Isn't it kinda sad for Celestia that everybrony makes fun of her in these ways? It's not easy to run a country if you also need to set aside time to do godly thngs.

I'm fine with ponies drinking, yeah - there's a hilarious scene where Applejack and Dash get soused at the Grand Galloping Gala in It Takes A Village, and it's mentioned in Dangerous Business as well.

I doubt Chubby is related to Diamond Tiara, no - if he was, he'd be a snotty little brat too, not to mention that they wouldn't have had separate checklist entries. It was probably just that Cheerilee was skipping around on the list and filling in foals' checkboxes whenever they got a family member in.

^It must be tough, yeah. There was a comic someone did about it a few days ago on Memebase's brony partition... anyone have that handy?
