@Mio That's pretty much one of my big problems with Pinkie.

I would argue that Party Of One took SOME steps towards making her an actual character (her breakdown is actually more reserved than I was expecting to tell you the truth)

Derpy might be an even bigger case of Never Live It Down than commonly believed, since the "muffin" line

may have been said by her, Sea Swirl, or Minuette, and she wasn't one of the ponies who were licking their lips or drooling at the sight of the muffins.

I'll be bitter more than explody (who am I kidding? I'll probably be both)

I really want this ep to be good, but there seem to be so many things, (including this fandom) getting in the way of me being able to enjoy myself when Pinkie is involved

If you think that two people happening to have Vinyl avatars is bad, you should have seen back when something like 4 different tropers had Ask Pinkemena avatars.

^^Yeah, that was a lot of brown (and in some cases red). I'm starting to feel a bit monochromatic myself.

I'd like to point out that Pinkie did have a moment of mellow compassion. In Lesson Zero at the end when they burst in, Pinkie gives Twi that nuzzle and she's pretty reserved while she does it.

Not a different voice, I'd just like to hear a bit more range in Pinkie's voice.

Pinkie has the potential to be a very sweet character. It is just a shame the show seems to not want to do that yet.

I would like to see more mellow Pinkie as well. In fact, I want to see her family again. This episode seems like a good opportunity to reintroduce them. (Maybe she goes to her mom for help.)
