I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

@Ace: Thanks for the compliments. Having trans-racialism be taboo is just something that I decided was appropriate for the background of the fic.
Clock is ticking!
@Sereg: You give me strange ideas for an alicorn conspiracy. Like say, somepony making a draught that was supposed to make them ascend to alicorn, but they screwed up the potion and it gives them a kind of 'controlled' polymorphitis, making them shift semi-regularly between the three pony races. Or this other "genius" who tried to do something to their magical makeup and ends up becoming 33% of each race, making them one-third as strong as a True alicorn.
You know, thinking on Cutie Marks, I'm a b it confused as to how Rainbow's mark really represents her love of winning.
I have a message from another time...
The end of the world as we know it. Like weekends usually are, but more dire.
That's an odd way of looking at it. Wouldn't it make more sense fo it to be representative of the true self, if anything, rathr than how one presents oneself?
Rainbow Dash sees her special talent as a tool for winning. That was important as it's how she finally understood her talent. Her talent isn't winning. A pony with a special talent for winning would be good at beating other ponies at doing things, but not doing those things in a non-competitive situation.
Clock is ticking!
I feel a bit sad for ponies, being saddled with one purpose in life for the rest of their lives.
Unless cutie marks are mutable, at least. But we've never actually seen that happen.
