No, I could not get any sleep because at 4 AM I HEARD SOMEBODY TRY TO COME INTO MY ROOM. Probably my mom thinking she could, you know, do unspeakable horrors to me while I sleep.

I don't give a damn if I'm just being paranoid. Something had to have happened for me to have reason to believe she'd do it, right?

... To clarify, I was intending to get to sleep much sooner. I hadn't been playing any games, and I wanted to catch up on good sleep time instead of waking up at 2 PM yet again.

Then I came across that fic. And then I couldn't stop reading. I became immersed.

It was 3:30 AM when I started reading. ALMOST 4 HOURS ON A 9-CHAPTER FIC OF EPIC PROPORTIONS.

I just can't read E-Books, nor can I read long stories over the internet.

I can't read manga on the internet either.

There's just something about having an ACTUAL book in my hand (especially if the story is THIS stupidly long!)

I totally empathize with you. There's just something about feeling the weight of the book and the dry paper pages between your fingers that can't be replaced. In fact, most of my shelf consist of various omnibi and other really thick volumes.

BUUUUUT I'm not about to print out a 2000+ page fanfic just for the sake of reading it

Since space is a premium for me, I've taken to e-books lately. Tablets are thinner and can hold a sizeable amount of stuff with a nice, spacious micro SD card in them.

Of course, if I could get Fallout Equestria printed and bound in hardcover as a doorstopper, that would be great too.
