No. What Ginger is saying makes sense due to his/her previous actions and opinions. You are just too blind, having stereotyped/flanderized him/her to be something she/he is not.

Okay, I admit I've totally shoehorned Ginger into the 'Pinkie Pie Hater' spot. His rage spots just sort of stand out to me, y'know :P
Spooky.

If I recall, Ginger expressed dislike of Pinkie being used solely as a "LOLOLOLOLOLFUNNYQUIRKYKYA!" character. It makes sense that he would appreciate other forms of her that lacked that.

I don't know about the synopsis of Baby Cakes. From the way they have been worded it makes it seem like Pinkie is aware that she is in over her head. Maybe she won't be learning a lesson after all. . .yep I'm going to call Swarm of the Century 2.0 on this one.

Or how about we wait and see the episode before judging it?

To me, it's one of those episodes that's fun when you're watching it, but becomes less fun the more you overthink it.

I thought it was ok, if predictable.

I also found Swarm of the Century passable. Happy 2012 everypony! Yes, I'm aware I'm two days late, but I've been busy offline.

Though I am usually irked by anything that puts Lauren Faust on a pedestal, that was fantastic.

I'm with Kerrah on this one; so far the summaries haven't been at all indicative of the episodes' actual quality, so I'm waiting until we actually get the episode.

The other thing is that we don't know how long it takes Pinkie to realize she's in over her head; for all we know half the episode might be Pinkie trying to use her regular antics and failing before figuring it out.

Hopefully it won't just be a rehash of Applejack's episode.

Remember how the summary for "Sweet and Elite" claimed that Rarity considers abandoning her friends?

Nothing of the sort happened in that episode. She just chose to skip a birthday.

No. I don't. I don't normally read the summaries, so each episode is a complete surprise.

Yeah, well, I'm just reminding everyone to hold their horses (hohoho!) and not judge something based on a (possibly inaccurate) summary.

No worries about getting too worked up. I tend to avoid episode summaries and wild speculation and just take each episode as it comes.

One of my favorite "fan" ponies, Maplejack! She originated from that MAD TV short Cowboys and Equestrians and was adopted by some of the bronies.

I read this for the articles, seriously.

"Swarm of the Century" was great, don't know what y'all are complaining about. Sure, it's light on character development, but it's a fun bit of slapstick/comedy.

[up] Yeah, it also has one of the show's best gags,

Pinkie 'saving' Rarity...and Rarity's reaction.
