@Ace Of Scarabs Nopony in Ponyville will notice diffrence. Town was destroyed many times so G1 monsters and villains don't change much for them.

They are going to need a new Big Bad for the season Three oponer. If this Nightmare thingy could corrupt somone attuned to all six (or three of whatever) the Elements of Harmony then why not a pony whose attuned to one?
