It wouldn't surprise me if there was a "You could have died!" moment or something like that where death is mentioned, but I doubt the show will ever have anything outside of vaguely implied, but never acknowledged, deaths, like AJ's parents.

I really don't. I don't even think they would even vaguely imply it.

Unless they actually actually show up in an episode AJ's parents will not be acknowledged at all.

I was just going along with the moment.

I actually don't like the idea that ponies can ascend to become Alicorns, because in my head, Alicorns are a completely different species to ponies.

I honestly don't know how this show should end.

If anyone is asccending around these parts it's going to be TS.

Twilight's whole mission is a Secret Test of Character to prove she is worthy to be Princess Celestia's succesor. When she masters the magic of friendship it will mean she is prepared to rule over all of Equistria while Celestia returns to pony heaven for some much needed R&R after a thousand year ruling on her own. Luna will remain and guide Twilight through her first few years of rulling but will eventually depart as well

and no, Celestia is NOT gonna put Twilight through all this just to make HER the ruler and force her to outlive her best friends. She'd make ALL the mane 6 the heads of state if anything XD
