[up][up][up][up] Wasn't that only Basil though? Maybe they were a gift?

Maybe he SAVED a country one time and they rewarded him with stuff for his hoard?

What was that about Leather Pants? The pair I gave Basil fit him quite nicely actually [lol]

Well that's just silly. Dude, no one is villainizing Basil here, I'm okay with him, I mean poor guy got served by the pansy.

Still can't find any pictures that would work for a Yu-Gi-Oh! card but...

Epic Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbowdash, and Applejack.

Also a great picutre of the battle between Luna and Celestia:http://ryuukiba.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=Epic#/d4946mv

You have to get me to care about Rayquaza first, ruby, sapphire, and emerald were when I grew absolutely apathetic towards legendaries. It's also ugly to boot:

Those Coats of arms ARE cool though. I love the union of Celestia and Luna, Big Mac, AJ, and Zecora ones [lol]

Why are Luna and Celestia Princesses? Because Luarn Faust is the Empress Pony

[up] I like to imagine them as Humanoid Abominations waii

Humanoid in a world of ponies. So yeah, still horrific looking by Equestrian standards [lol]

[up]Horrific looking by Equestrian standards, but amazing in the eyes of a certain unicorn...probably somehow leading to this

(I couldn't be bothered to think up effects for all of them so I just gave them to the unicorns-the ones with magic)

Wow, those unicorns are spectacularly broken. Those effects are practically game breaking - someone could build an entire deck around Twilight, and she would become ungodly powerful. A shit ton of spell cards, and enough other monsters and a few spells to keep attacks off her, and she rules the field. Especially since I believe the rules allow you to dump cards into the graveyard without reason.

Rarity is neat that she's a support character, but her attack is way too high for the effect - 2000 is a pretty big number to begin with, let alone using it in conjunction with another potentially powerful creature. It could have upwards of 5000 attack - enough to blow away most creatures and give a pretty good shot to the opponents life points in the same go. The rest are fairly powerful, but not in an overpowered sense. After all, they're something akin to great warriors in Equestria, so they would be strong. Twilight and Rarity are just overpowered, though.

It's been forever since I've played, but I was laboring under the impression that attack points have inflated in the last view years to ungodly levels. >.>

Also, Twilight can use the effect of any spell card, but her attack/defense is so weak that it shouldn't be hard to simply destroy her if she become a problem-I also forgot to put that the effect takes the place of her attack for that turn

Yeah, I'd chop Rarity's ATK/DEF in half, and rachet Twilight's power down somehow. Maybe change her effect to something like "pay 500 life points to flip a coin, if heads move any spell card from your deck to your hand" or maybe make it a flip effect; when she's flipped you can move three spell cards from your graveyard to your hand, or something.

And you could give Fluttershy some sort of effect where she gets a power boost if another card on the field gets attacked or something.

[up]I haven't followed it recently either, but I get the idea that anything about 3000 attack points or more is absurdly strong unless it's a fusion monster or a ritual summon.

Tomorrow I might take my own swing at putting some cards together.

You should give it a go. :D My orignal plan was to give each on a diffrent effect, but I couldn't think of one for each of them...

I'll see what I can do to fix Rarity and TS >.>

Well, Twilight is pretty broken in-universe too, so it kinda fits tongue

Though, yeah, repeatable recurrence of already used cards is one of the most broken mechanics in just about any TCG. The cards that did that sort of thing in Magic in the old days ended up getting banned all over the place, and anything similar that is printed in the more modern sets is pretty much nerfed to hell compared to the old stuff, and can still be pretty playable.

Rarity: Black/White. She is very ambitious and materialistic, but overcomes that for the sake of her friends and wants to share her gifts and talents rather than hoarding them for herself.
Rarity is, more than anything, an artist. I'd say that's a reasonably strong case for her being at least partially blue. But whether she leans closer to white/blue or blue/black depends on the circumstances.

Also, Discord is colorless. wink

The closest thing I can think of to artists in Magic are artificers, which are pretty Blue. White/Blue/Black would be pretty accurate then, though I guess "Generosity" is pretty hard to nail down color-wise. It seems White at first, but White can just as easily be Knight Templar-style totalitarian and take everything away as it can give things to everyone, as the key point of its philosophy is fairness and order, not giving for the sake of giving. And just about every color has some form of "giving", even Black (though that tends to be giving a "gift" at a price much larger than the value of the gift).

Also, being the personification of Chaos make a pretty good case for Discord being Red, though the Eldritch Abomination factor fits the Eldrazi bill.

Rarity should be Red/Blue, the colours of an artist.

Rarity did have that whole "organized chaos" thing going on, though she would probably hate the barbaric aspects of Red. I'm really starting to lean toward Blue/Black due to her ambition and how goal-oriented she is. Rarity is very hard to pin down though, as she is very contradictory at times (the "stealing Spike's present" incident is a good example), and as I said above, the element of Generosity doesn't lend itself to any particular color.
