Well that's just silly. Dude, no one is villainizing Basil here, I'm okay with him, I mean poor guy got served by the pansy.

You have to get me to care about Rayquaza first, ruby, sapphire, and emerald were when I grew absolutely apathetic towards legendaries. It's also ugly to boot:

Rarity: Black/White. She is very ambitious and materialistic, but overcomes that for the sake of her friends and wants to share her gifts and talents rather than hoarding them for herself.
Rarity is, more than anything, an artist. I'd say that's a reasonably strong case for her being at least partially blue. But whether she leans closer to white/blue or blue/black depends on the circumstances.
Also,

The end of the world as we know it. Like weekends usually are, but more dire.
Rarity should be Red/Blue, the colours of an artist.
Rarity did have that whole "organized chaos" thing going on, though she would probably hate the barbaric aspects of Red. I'm really starting to lean toward Blue/Black due to her ambition and how goal-oriented she is. Rarity is very hard to pin down though, as she is very contradictory at times (the "stealing Spike's present" incident is a good example), and as I said above, the element of Generosity doesn't lend itself to any particular color.
