I think it was just something that someone said way back in the fandoms primordial days. I think it was a joke about how Dash wanted Pinkie candy vag, or vice cersa. The candy part is probably just because of either the colours or the sheer amount of sweets she ingests flavouring her.

Alright. I'll just post the paragraph in the story where he describes himself. And he's also wearing clothes, so I'll put that in too.

I’m a rather tall, slim pony. Not enough to be called gawky or gangly, but I am taller than most ponies, skinnier than the more muscled stallions that you sometimes see, the ones that are normally soldiers or mercenaries or, if they’re lucky enough, farmers. Farmers that, I’ll admit, know how to use a gun. In addition to my slim frame, I have dark, almost chocolate-brown fur coupled with a messy amount of black mane, most of which I’ve pulled into a rough ponytail. My eyes are green, and my cutie mark is a white crosshair. I turned back to Gauze. “You did a great job.”

Clothes:

I could already tell I was going to be spending a lot of time messing around with the thing, figuring out its functions through trial and error. I thanked Gauze and began putting on the clothing I’d been wearing; it wasn’t much, just a denim vest that went over a blue long-sleeve shirt that I normally wore unbuttoned, and a black gaucho hat, but I’d worn it for a while now and liked the ensemble. I nodded to Gauze again, touching the brim of my hat with a hoof. “See you. Thanks again for treating me.”

He also is wearing a Pip Buck at this point.

I know "candy ***" from "Ponies discover /co" ^^. Pinkie finds a picture of "Dashie eating candy ***" and both are quite interested because they don't know what it is... then they see the picture.... Man, that story's first half is amazingly funny.
