Well, if we use a Gorget, it's a little strip of armor that is designed to protect their throat.
"Speak no evil" engraved in silver writing upon the plate, which is a near-black metal. Silver trim for details (difffering pattern so each is unique), and a Crescent Moon placed upon the center with six small stars surrounding it. Each star has a faint coloration to it.
...or some other phrase, dependent on the Pony to which it was gifted to.

Well, symbolic tokens of them being Luna's personal Kight-Errants is one thing.
I'm not looking to have them be on the same level as the Mane Six at all. Their reason for being is entirely different, which is why I derailed everything into determining
what that reason was in the first place.

There's a theory as to why Celestia has Twilight and the gang sticking together writing letters about friendship:
Celestia doesn't know what it's like to have a true friend anymore. She's using this as a chance to learn some lessons so She can reconnect with Luna after being apart for so long.
Not my theory, but it made sense to me when I read it.
Oh, and the Elements. Can't forget that part.

^ And send them both in for comic relief.
It's pretty bad when I Double-post in the same thread more than once in a given day.

This is my headcanon.
Tracing the horizon in a dance of wind and fire.
It's been mine for awhile.
Luna needs to learn what redemption means, maybe. Maybe She's harboring feelings of self-loathing or something. We need more screen-time to get a peek in Her head.

@Syd: He's not going to get banned over that, if that's what you're worried about. Worst case scenario, they'll have him run his edits through the "Get help with English" thread before he edits. He won't get in trouble trouble unless he refuses to make any attempts to improve his writing.
But She's been apart fro Her little sister for so long. I bet they were close before Luna went all envious and stuff.
Considering that they both have a very long lifespan, who else can they relate to? Celestia must have gotten very lonely while Luna was banished.

1000 years, man. That's way more than enough to have them both thinking "do I even know you anymore?" to each other.

@L Mage
We don't have a fanon map yet. Equestria is the only country so far, although we have pondered the existance of griffon and other such
single race countries. I have Prance/Fancy in my headcanon due to sheer amount of references to it.
Oh, look at that, it appears I've become BOLTED TO THE WALL!
^^^ Precisely my point - this is one of the underlying motive for why Celestia has them writing letters to her about friendship.
Or it could be, anyway.
^ SUP, MAN.
