I said I would, don't worry Ginger. I just feel as though this is something that needs to exist and no one else is doing it. I know I tend to have a lot of my plate, but basically when something should be done, someone should do it, and I'm sadly the one that's doing it.

You don't need to do it alone, you just need to get it started, from there you can get additional Mods and Admins to share the burden.

Also love the icons but they should be a little smaller.

I'd help to. I probably won't be able to do anything on the technical side, but I could try moderating. Don't have any experience, but I can try.

Moderating isn't very technical I think. It's Administrating that's the technical part.

No experience necessary, just be reasonable human beings. It'll be new for all of us since I've never quite been an admin before.

Ginger I just want to say this to you. If you become a mod, you can't ban people for disliking AJ.

As far as I'm aware, most mods are just normal posters with the ability to edit other peoples posts as well, and of course, the power to alert the admins. No real skill required.

Oh, actually, I lied before. I do have mod experience of a sort.

On the site 40k online, I am an 'officer' in the Imperial Guard boards...I don't have mod 'powers', but I am expected to not only 'lead by example', but report all infirgements to the mod. The mod simply has to look at my report (pm) rather than patrol the thread themselves.

I'm not too sure I'd be good at being a mod, though, at least, I've never been one before. I guess it's more that I'm not sure I'd be very good at knowing when it's okay to step in and scold someone and when to leave things alone. I also don't know if being a mod means you have to read all the posts, not just the ones in the topics you're interested in. Part of me is curious to try it but I'm also aware that my tendency to take things literally and miss sarcasm could be major problems for me as a mod.

@Ginger: I mean absolutely no offense by this, but one of the most important aspects of being a good moderator is the ability it keep a level head when faced by inflammatory comments. Given that you (self admittedly) get riled up very easily, you might want to think about it a bit before volunteering. I'm not saying that you shouldn't do it, just that you should keep in mind that you have to try to not let your personal preferences influence your moderating. If you think you're up to the challenge, by all means go for it.
