They might be unnerved about being with omnivores. Meat-eating would be less creepy than our use of various animal products and leather.

Fluttershy really puts in the effort for her animals. IIRC those were living worms she fed to the birds. It's the Circle of Life

That's one reason I wouldn't want to become a pony. I love meat.

I'd be a vegetarian for as long as I was in Equestria (out of courtesy)

I wonder if Hay Fries taste any good?

I'd become a pony a long as I had a pony friend in Equestria to help me with the lifestyle switch (or if the switch were only temporary of course)

@Ginger: Humans can't digest cellulose, which makes eating grass a problem.

By the way, if Fluttershy met a human, would she classify it as an animal and therefore to be looked after or group it with ponies and dragons and therefore be scared of it?

It seems that being able to talk is the defining trait here. If you met Fluttershy, should you feign muteness?

I wouldn't. That'd just be deceptive, and if ever she DID find out that you could talk it would only make her more upset.

(either because she thought you were being decietful, or because she thought you didn't trust her enough to tell her in the first place)

Yeah, my first reaction to a pony showing up would be to hide them and try to figure out how they ended up here in the first place.

I'm guessing Fluttershy would probably be freaked out more at the fact that she was no longer in Equestria than anything else; a single human wouldn't phase her too much (she handled the manticore with no problems), but a world full of humans would be pretty scary.

I must admit that I don't like the idea of trying to decieve Fluttershy. (I actually get really uncomfortable when I need to be deceptive). I think that I'd be even more uncomfortable with saying that I was a child. But I wouldn't want to scare her away either.

EDIT:

Fluttershy: Because he wasn't a human!

If she can be afraid of other ponies, she can be afraid of humans.

Then again:

Fluttershy: *GASP* A human! I've never seen a human before! He's so cute!

While I ultimately acknowledge that the odds of an Equestrian Pony getting stranded on our world are absurdly unlikely, I still think it would be in our interest as bronies to make sure their stay here is a pleasant one.

Fluttershy getting stuck here would be quite an ordeal for the poor dear. Imagine how skittish she must be when confronted with the loud racket of numerous oil-powered motor-vehicles.

My point was that the only two species that Fluttershy seems to have issues with are ponies and dragons; anything else she tends to do okay with. A human might weird her out due to the lack of fur, but there's no reason to assume that she'd react the same way to a human as she would to a pony or dragon.

She'd be able to make the best of her impromtu outing here at least. I can picure her trying to bring back a thick stack of fashion magazines and artbooks as inspiration when it's time for her to head back to Ponyville.
