Well, that Trixie thread on ponychan is mighty ugly. One of the pro-Trixie people was pretty much insulting everyone arguing against him.

Scoots tops, because she wants to be just like Rainbow Dash. Of course, Luna has that horn, so I'm sure they'd get lots of use out of that.

[up][up]Its amazing how much people can read into a character from only one episode. wild mass guessTrixie is actually usually super nice, and was just having a crappy day.wild mass guess

Why is Spiderman, of all people, freakin' everywhere pony related?
Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.

Along with Hitler, Statler and Waldorf, that vampire thing...

So I went on Know Your Meme and found this.

I just understand that Spider-Man (or at least, Spider-Man from some old animated show, I'm assuming) seems to be a meme in and of itself, and it's popular practice to try derailing pony threads with it.

It's a meme. He shows up infrequently on Ponychan.

Also, this is probably a weird thing to acknowledge, but I haven't the damndest clue what it's supposed to denote when one of the ponies lifts one of their front legs. (This is all too common to name specific instances of)

You mean when they cross one front leg in front of the other? Applejack seems to do it often enough.

I think it's supposed to be analogous to crossing your arms and is supposed to represent the same kind of body language.

So, trying to win over a neigh-sayer on AIM. Showed the Derpy scene from "Feelin' Pinkie Keen." He asks why there's a dinosaur and notices that one of them has a beard.

More like this.

Now that I think about it it usually occurs when they are happy (though Rarity does it in "Suited For Success" when Applejack says she will wear her "work duds" to the gala).

Sort of a "getting ready to go" sort of thing? Or a "I'm almost pointing at that... with my knee" sort of thing? Or just something that looks cute?

Most of the body language seems to treat the front hooves like arms (since most animators are human), so you could just say that any time they raise their hooves they're doing it in the same way one would raise their arms - in Rarity's case, it would be guarding, or in surprise, while the Pic you linked would be more eager, a 'let's go' sort of pose. That's my guess, at least.

I just converted my friend to ponies and now she loves it so much. She already wants us to cosplay as humanized ponies: I'm supposed to be Twilight and she's either Pinkie or Rainbow Dash.

I've created a monster.

Don't let her be Pinkie at a party.

That's just asking for trouble. ;)
Furthermore, I think Guantanamo must be destroyed.

MLP amuses me in that it's just about impossible to do good cosplays of any of the characters.

Of course there's always cosplay that's so bad it's good.

Or so bad it gives you nightmares.

I honestly don't think she's actually going to go through with it. But I don't know, she might show up at my house one day with the gala dresses or something. She's like if Pinkie and Rarity had a baby.

I would totally do that.

MLP cosplay is easy. They don't normally wear clothes, so all you need is a wig and a cutie mark tattoo.
