So. . .the play. Yeah, I'm expecting any gods (except maybe Celestia and/or Luna) to show up in the play. Depending on how much of this is actually flashback, I don't think we will see much in the way of backstage shenanigans. It'll be kind of like Cutie Mark Chronicles in that regard, but who knows.
Hey, so I'm finally at home with a TV that actually gets The Hub. I may be able to see the episode live for the first time.

Could be worse. Could have been the
World of Darkness.

I've done very little
D Ming of any sort. And again, I'm not the one who wrote that. You're not so much preaching to the choir as you are preaching to a guy who has no say.

Final prediction:
Flashbacks will show ponies from those times, just for sake of having more new ponies.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
I'm here. I'll read what I missed after the episode.
Tealove is best pony.
HO HO HO. MERRY CELESMAS.
Spooky.
I spy Jet Set, Upper Crust, and Fancy Pants.

Festive enough? Rarity, that hat looks utterly moronic to a degree I can barely describe.
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.
Pinkie Pie in Rarity's hat. Amazing.
Tealove is best pony.
I spotted scootaloo doing the tounge stuck to a pole thing
yay. more Fluttercheering.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Why do I get the feeling that you'd not have brought the
hat
up if someone else was wearing it?

Well, that was some extremely quick-boil backstage strife.
