Wait, did boobustuber actually leave? Wow, I do other things for about 1 hour, and someone gets upset and leaves. I kind of feel bad now... (though boobus did overreact there... the fannon has done worse things than that, not that this ship is actually bad, as noone is taking the ship past cute, on this forum at least).

Spike must be undergoing unstable premature growth spurts. Mayhap some of Twilight's magic from that time she was using magic on his egg back at the Academy was still dormant in him and causing him to grow like that. triggered by the presents on his birthday.

I guess Rarity might have tapped into her Element subconciously while applying Social-fu and used it to stabilise Spike, causing the growth spurt to cancel. Or she pressed B.

Shame the Wonderbolts got owned by hulk!Spike so easily. Worfworfworf

Beyond Rarity's usual social-fu, AJ gets the best lines this episode. The way she said, "...Get me mah rope, " made me grin.

See, the point here is that last episode Rarity recognized and appeciated Spike's feelings which is a major step up from treating him as a literal doormat.

Yet she throws a hissy fit about how disturbing this is and how we are just so much worse in every way possible for not enjoying a pretty decent guy falling into what is essentially a complete, status quo-imprinted, unsolvable friendzone. I don't want to ask her opinions on other aspects of the equestrian culture, but I guess they are equally disturbing.

I say this: if you want to quit this fandom because it's not hypocritical enough, I won't even throw you a farewell party.

Well next episode is founding of Equestria so that won't work. And in the next episode Applejack will probably be in it and not kill dragons with one flex of her legs while ignoring being on fire as Twilight and Dash are useless due to not being Earth Ponies so you'll be mad then.

Wonderbolts are aerobatics specialists who do other things, they aren't fully military but are more akin to a professional semi-paramilitary flight squad. I bet they also do flight rescues in other places where we don't get to see yet.

Is anybody keeping a running count of how many times the mane cast has destroyed Ponyville? You'd think somepony would have noticed by now.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. Maybe it's because Spike is purple and the regular pink coloration wouldn't show up or something. I'm more confused about how she left a mark in the first place, seeing as she's visibly not wearing lipstick.

@JT Ponyville has the same insurance plan as Angel Grove from MMPR

Considering all the others were in the building at the time, therefore close by, it's more like she just screwed up the coordinates of the spell.

I can just see all the construction ponies coming back into town for the third time that week.

The real reason why Ponyville is usually a rustic village is simply because bigger buildings tend to get totaled by the latest Disaster of the Week, and smaller houses are easier to rebuild. If it's not monster problems from Everfree, it'd be haywire magic from a Unicorn getting a Crit-Fail on spellcasting, or an Earth pony Inventor's latest creation going rampant, or the Weather Team accidentally the monsoon again. The Mane 6 don't really add much to the disaster schedule.

@Enlong: I bet it's a bad pointer definition in her casting script, only the exception handler managed to parse it as usable coordinates and targeting so the spell resolved glitchily. She should really run a debugger enchant or doublecheck her code before casting-compile.

I havent yet seen them being involved in war stuff yet.

Disqord? Luna? Native Equestrian buffaloes? Nowhere to be seen.

The only two episodes where they (fail to) do anything are sonic rainboom and the last one.

And air shows? No one sans pegasi seems to care much about that, evidence being that not a single upper class pony have heard of Rainbow Dash, who won the Youngest Fliers (major deal amongst pegasi) and performed the Sonic Rainboom twice.

Yet Wonderbolts are high class as shit.
