I know, I know. It isn't really that I personally dislike it, it's that because I had a similar situation I can see her disliking country music very easily. Seriously, when you are exposed to a single kind of music for that long it gets old. She probably still likes it if she cared enough to find variety, but she's just as likely to hate it by virtue of having heard so goddamn much of it.

plus it would just be funny for the most country pony around to hate country music.

I think Pinkie would the widest taste in music. She would like anything you could dance to.....hell, she's used everything from a trumbone to a set of decks.

@mailedbypostman, Was... Was that supposed to be a meta-joke?

Well I haven't heard Hey Ocean actually, what are they like?

[up]Very true... Yeah, Pinkie would have no taste, just so long as you can dance to it.... GOD, WHY AM I IMAGINING HER LISTENING TO LMFAO'S SEXY AND I KNOW IT GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

[up]Not particularly, it just seemed right. They're classed as jazz/pop, but I pretty much think of them as indie rock.

Hay Ocean, on the other hand, would be a meta meta joke.

pretty good, actually. They're sort of british punk feeling. Like, have you ever heard of Lily Allen? They sound sort of similar to me, unless I'm not remembering it well.

But at either rate, I like them.

This is why I feel bad that I never get into bands. Rather, I get into specific songs

I rarely get into specific bands, and when I do it's because by coincidence all those songs I loved were by them.

Hurray! Finally, brethren in liking songs instead of bands!

I rarely have any more than 3 or 4 songs from any single band on my iPod.

The only artists I have a large amount of songs on on my iPod are Celtic Woman and John Williams.

Sorry, I was just bored by Hey, Ocean and I like some of Coldplay's songs! I guess they're not for me.

Wait, do you think Twilight owns many records in her house?

Like in Sweet and Elite: Were those HER tunes she was dancing to? Or were they Pinkie's?

I have this almost saddening image of twilight having a bunch of records of famous or popular bands but never having listened to them by virtue of not having a record player and was doing it to fit in.

Which means I've been watching too much Monk and I need to get happy.

[up] Yeah, I did like that theme.

What was she listening to at the garden party though? I don't think it was the BGM [lol]

if she did do that, maybe she would borrow somepony's record player and then just sit around all day listening to them? that seems like it would be a pretty neat thing to do. Hey, she could invite all her friends over and they could have a jam party, or something.

Again bringing up Celtic Woman, but anyone think they've got music like them in Equestria?

Ugh, I HATE the embedding system!

Listened to more songs. Hey Ocean is like pulling teeth, but it's not unlistenable.
