Now i have an image of pinkie's tongue laying sprawled across a counter, as she drops one ice cream scoop after another onto it, all different flavors, then just rolls them all up.

Actually, do bunnies eat chocolate at all? Because I could almost see Angel pointing at it as if to say "You gunna eat that?" and then devouring it himself.

Still wish they'd clue us in on how carnivores behave in that world.

I have a feeling that if that was a regular occurrence, Gilda wouldn't have been allowed in the same flight school as Dash.

coubt there's any sentient beings that eat other sentients, but what about the snakes, or Opal, or the bird of prey? We've seen Opal go after what she thought were mice...

I imagine there'd have to be. Gilda sort of impleis that they can live in close proximity, so it would almost have to happen. It's just inevitable.

Opal is sentient. She isn't SAPIENT (although she might be). It's one of those weird things that people always get mixed up on

I'm pretty sure the Hydra was trying to eat the ponies, and it looked pretty sapient to me (it didn't talk, but it still seemed rather intelligent)

fine want to get semantical. I doubt there are any sophant eating sophants. Or that ponies would eat anything made of meat, but again waht about the non-sophant carnivores

I'd just lump the Hydra under a 'monster' category along with the manticore. monsters are allowed to be somehwat sentient/sapient yet eat people/ponies. I'm talking about normal animals.

Also she doesn't explode and spray other patrons with gore.

Now that's just cheating. Who're you to dictate what's normal and what's not in Equestria?

So like... what actually is a horses predator? Mountain lions?

I wonder if we'll ever have an episode that deals closely with a non-pony, non-magical spaient creature. Probably not, but it might be interesting. I'd still like to see something dealing with the pony's dynamic with the other farm animals, even if I'm the only one.

Well, I think of it a really strange way. It's not so much that they're slave drivers, it's just the culture; a remnant of a very, very old time. If a sheep everwanted to leave it behind them well, I don't think AJ would really stop him from walking out. He'd get a lot of funny looks though.

I actually suggested that as a plot on the fanfic thread. The result was interesting - the responses were pretty similar to what you'd see in an actual situation. Most people didn't think there was anything wrong with the way things were ahppening, maybe ne person aside from me recognized an issue, and then Death Cloud came in and went around being amazingly racist ("It doesn't matter, the sheep are less sapient than the ponies anyways")

Does Fluttershy go to Froggy Bottom Bog often? I honestly wonder how she never came across the hydra before (unless the bog is MASSIVE)

also, has Fluttershy had a run in with the Cockatrice before? People like to hypothesize that Pinkie knew about the parasprites because they attacked her parent's farm at some point, but what's FS's excuse for knowing about the Cockatrice?

Maybe after the parasprite incident, the mane cast all went over to Zecora's place and asked her for some information regarding the more dangerous inhabitants of the forest (so they'll be better prepared). The Cockatrice came up there.

Seriously, what kind of logic is Death using anyway?

The parasprites attacking Pinkie's farm doesn't make sense. It's a rock farm. They farm rocks. Rocks are inedible.
