I own a Mobile that can literally only phone or text people. Nothing else. Except for a flashlight and a calender I guess.

That's rediculos, I had a old fashioned cell before this thing and all I did was make calls when. Necesseary, I can't imagine being one of those people texting all the time.

My phone is so old in fact that my network provider sends me texts that cannot actually be displayed on my screen. Also I can have only two colours black and green on said screen. And I don't text.

At most I use £10 on my phone every few months.

Edit: What phones would the Mane Cast use? (Trying to keep this somewhat linked to the thread).

I DON'T WANT TO BE A FREQUENT TEXTER!!!! I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE THOSE PEOPLE WHO SIT AROUND AND TEXT PEOPLE ALL DAY, but whenever I'm given access to a phone, I can't help myself.

Mobile phones in Equestria. As such or as magitek? Impact? How do they long-distance? Do they have a Post Office? To they have Clacks Towers? Electricity? How are houses lit? Where is the iron made? Where is it mined?

On the subject of mobile phones, mine has a number of different features none of which I use. I also hate texting. There is nothing more irritating to me then when someone misses my phone call, and responds to me with a text.

Most things do seem to run on magic. I'd guess that's why Unicorns are the highest social class since they run almost all of the things that are bought. The longer the distance the more magic charge you'll burn. Yes. Yes, in Appleoosa at least. Maybe, Twilight's basement may be powered by magic. Candles or Unicorn light spells generally. Earth Pony Forges. Quarry Eel lairs by adventurers.

Twilight would have some high tech PDA blackberry iPhone thing so shell be organized all the time and have data at her fingertips. Pinkie would talk all the time and Fluttershy would be more partial to texting all the time since she can barely be heard.
