So, as I mentioned a while back, I’ve been wanting to write some episode-style Original Flavor fics, and have been toying with the idea of writing a Whole Plot Reference to And Then There Were None (titled Ten Little Ponies, natch) both for fun, and as an aversion to all the grimdark stuff, but I’m stuck in the planning stages due to a few crucial problems.

Namely, the murders. Coming up with nine or ten G-Rated ways to represent the ponies “dying” is pretty tough. I’ve got a few ideas, such as getting caught by a trapdoor or apparently falling off of a cliff (including, of course, a miniature figurine of that character being mysteriously broken as they vanish), but I’m largely drawing blanks. I’d rather not have characters just consistently “go missing, ” since that seems rather passive.

Also, I’m not sure about who I want to involve. Right now, my current plan is to have the mane cast, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Big Mac, but I’m not really feeling the CMC and Mac much, so I’m trying to think of other possible canon characters to replace them with. Spike and Zecora are out, though, since they’re not ponies. Plus, the ability to magically send a letters to Celestia could become rather Deus ex Machina-esque.

So, yeah. Any thoughts? Would anyone even been interested in reading this?

Well, I've been working on learning GIMP, mostly through goofing around. I wasn't really ready to jump right in on my Scoots and Apple Bloom picture and wasn't really sure on where to begin if I were to go with revising my FF 13 crossover, so I decided to try learning by doing a simple project. Since I have a rather large cache of Twilight facial screen caps and hadn't had a chance to use most of them, I decided to try some kind of tribute. Then I figured since I was going through all that work, I might as well share it. It's a pretty rudimentary wallpaper, but I did have a bit of an inspiration for the design. Said design should probably be pretty obvious once people get a look at it, but, I'm not really sure if I did the idea justice.

Anyway, enough rambling, here's my Twilight Sparkle wallpaper◊.

By the way, I'm mystified about something in Winter Wrap Up. One of Twilight's ideas is to string multiple bells up to make waking the animals faster, but there's no way this could possibly be more efficient. Even with telekinesis, it should still take longer to place the bell and attach it to the rope and support than to just ring it in the first place.

I'm mystfied by something in the Iron Pony Competition that was between Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

When they "Hoof"-Wrestle(Or arm wrestle) It's Dash that wins, now logically, Applejack would have more developed hoof muscles than Dash, and yet?

See what thinking too much about it does to you?

Also, why is Derpy associated with muffins so much in the fan art? Is it really all because of a barely audible line in episode 4?

Yeah, I was kinda curious about that too, although they also hoof-wrestled in "The Ticket Master", and they were evenly matched there too. Maybe Dash just works out a lot.

Rule of Funny, I guess. I'm not entirely sure where it originated either.

I'm mystified by how an entire image gallery and tagging site was formed out of My Little Pony! Goodness to God!

Not just My Little Pony, the most recent iteration of it. There are only 26 episodes and like 2 online games. That's it.

That's easily the most powerful weapon ever conceived by human minds. Whenever you shoot it, and and all hostilities cease and the parties begin.

Look at the fan's reactions to side-characters.

Like Derpy for instance, If you count the amount of on-screen time Derpy has had, It's less than a minute probably, and yet, Fans love her.

Just amazing.

It's official. This show has now made Western animation viewers as much fans as anime otaku. Now let's see if the merchandising will sky-rocket in sales.

I'm saying right now that if they ever make a full size poster of all the ponies, I will buy it. Or if they make a t-shirt that's actually large enough to fit me.

If not, I'm horribly tempted to make a custom poster out of this.

For example, my favorite characters are Derpy and Doctor Whooves. The Doctor being not a pony, but any pony with an hourglass CM.
