Why can't we ever discuss the actual episodes?

It seems like all the thread is capable of is alternating between grimdark, bust sizes, and Peeler/Tealove.

Well we usually wear out our episode discussion material by approximately 1 day after it airs. I mean what else can we talk about? More future episode speculation? Overthinking some other minor detail in a previous episode we might've forgotten to talk about?

Yeah we really need something related more directly to the show to discuss. Problem is we've already been over most of standards stuff already; favorite episodes, favorite songs, favorite individual scenes, favorite background ponies...anybody have any other "favorite X" questions we could go on? (I'm sticking to favorite stuff because I want to keep things positive)
