Are there laws against what Trixie is doing? He'd probably be fine with it. If he tried to show her up I doubt he'd do better than the 3 who tried. Verdict: Either doesn't care or failure.

I contend that F:E is not a downer fic. It's an emotional rollercoaster, with some of the most down moments I've ever seen in any fiction, but the overall direction is towards the hopeful and bright, with some very awesome crowning moments of awesome along the way.
