It's just not my style of song, but since everyone was going on about how awesome it was (comparing it to AJ's stage theme and Discord by Ponybeat) I guess I'm just a little dissapointed

edit: The lyrics are the best thing about that song. As someone who's tried once and again to write lyrics to songs, I can testify that coming up with such clever rhymes and puns and fitting them into a melody is hard as shit. That's why I rank it as high as "Applejack Stage" and "Discord".

I was very surprised pinkie did this given that she has been very patient with arrogant characters (Gilda and Trixie)

I recently watched Friendship is Witchcraft and I found it OK. Voices are great, but the gags and storyline variations... are kinda hit and miss for me. However, the gags that I like, I like ALOT, like my current signature or the "We are all well-rounded characters"-"I'm not!" from Dashie ^^.

Coming to think of it, Abridged!One-dimensional!Dashie, who practically only says "Rainbow" and Dash" is still kinda.... the same charac... 'll stop now, just kidding^^, there's been enough Dashie controversy O_o.

Pinkie wasn't in Boast Busters, so I don't know how she would've reacted to Trixie.

Yeah, the lyrics are cool, but... I need a really good beat as well. Pinkie's Brew just didn't do it for me

It also has a Tvtropes page. My favorite is the sleepover episode, which is changed into Insane!Twilight forcing the two to re-enact her Les Yay-fanfiction ^^. However, the Dragonshy episode has all the awesome Dashie moments. Bring the PAINBOW!

But as I said, a lot of moments are very YMMV.

IMO, the Friendship Is Witchcraft take on "Call of the Cutie" is better than the actual episode it's based on.

Well, and it has robots! That's an about 19 or 21% increase in coolness right there.

Meh, I always prefer the Mentally Advanced version of most things. I laugh more often, and actually I consider his Call Of the Cutie to be his best episode. I like Friendship is Witchraft but it's Hit or Mis ratio is a little higher on the miss side. I like a lot of it's ideas if not all of them, but they don't seem to be executed as entertainingly as they could be. The music is great, though, but learning the full version of Pinkie's brew made me sad.

@Ginger, trust me, it's okay, like i said, Friendship is Witchcraft is's hit to miss ratio is high on the miss side. Furthermore, I tend to only laugh after their jokes hours after the fact when I'm thinking about them randomly. Like I said, like the ideas but not the execution.

@Fallen Legend: I'm sure that the hate comes from the fact that the second season has been spoiling us (if this episode was in the first season, I'm sure that more people would be complimenting it) and Dashie fans vilifying the rest of the cast. It seems ridiculous to me. (I also forgot to mention that I loved the deconstruction of a hero's introduction).

That last sentence. Explain. (I'm intrigued )

Pretty simple. I just mean that they demonstrated why a hero introducing themselves before attempting to save anyone isn't normally a great idea.

I've been working on a class photo thing for a story I'm doing and then I was wondering if anyone could lend me your fresh eyes that haven't been staring at the same picture for days.

Warning, big image and lots of OC ponies.◊

So, my main concerns are that the kid in the middle of the back row looks like a troll (the ugly kind of doll from the 80s/90s with the crazy hair and big eyes), a bunch of these ponies are off-model and that the colour is just Not Working for some of them.

If anyone could point out any issues that pop out right away (or at least confirm/deny my suspicions about that kid in the back), it'd help a lot and I'd love you forever!
