Hmm....curious.

Okay, I see that this episode is a bit of a Base Breaker, so I’ll give all my thoughts. First of all, I’ll say that thought that it was a fun episode, but not as good as many others thi season.

Snps and Snails seem to be fanboys of everypony. Not really good or bad, just an observation. Of course Scootaloo would be president of the fan club. I do see that nopony’s getting RD’s cutie mark correct. That seems odd. RD starting off humble was nice. Quickly became a jerk, but that’s in character for RD. Pinkie seemed unusually serious at the beginning of the episode. At first thought that they were going to derail her character solely to have an excuse for her being Mare-Do-Well and I thought that that’s who it was until the horn. That made me irritated and I thought that Ginger would be rightfully angry. Seeing the horn and magic made me go “TWILIGHT!?” This I was okay with as Twilight’s less in danger of becoming a Sue than Pinkie is and my irritation vanished. Then the flyby happened and I was like…but…only alicorns…and it’s not one of the princesses…is Twilight using magic to gain the powers of other pony types? Wprked out exactly what was going on the instant that Fluttershy opened her mouth and loved the idea. Mare-do-well’s costume looked cool and reminded me of Darkwing Duck. I also liked the attitude. As for the return of Pinkie sense used in a serious light without making Pinkie show up everypony else: All of my YES! Loved Sparkler’s scene. Was a bit surprised buy Scootaloo’s support of Mare-do-well, but I’m okay with that. Reading the comments, the rescuing was a bit over the top, but I didn’t mind that. The criticism that they were showing up RD is ridiculous. They helped where they were needed and didn’t do anything to RD. Take it from someone who’s used to Always Someone Better. Overall, many good things but the criticism that it was the worst episode this season isn’t unfounded. I’m undecided if that’s true or if Sisterhooves Social was the worst this season. It’s definitely not worse the worst of the show though. I enjoyed it and Sisterhooves Social a lot and more than many season one episodes including some fairly popular ones like The Ticket Master, Applebuck Season and A Dog and Pony Show. As for the rest bragging about Mare-do-well, it’s different. None of them are Mare-do-well. She’s a team and that’s what makes her strong.

Also, as always, I agree with JT on everything.

Which of the Mane 6 do you relate to most? Twilight.

What traits of yourself do up you see reflected in the Mane 6 in general? Like Twilight I am very introverted, preferring books and computers to people. I also freak out over my studies and authority figures. Like Fluttershy I like animals and can be pretty shy. Like Rarity I am a bit of a people-pleaser. Like RD I need to feel acknowledged by others. Like Applejack I hate asking for help. Like Pinkie I can be a bit random.

Have you learnt to handle your own weaknesses better thanks to the Mane 6? Maybe? I’m better aware of them I think, but I’m a slow changer.

Favourite CMC: Applebloom.

which of the Mane 6 you admire the most, and which you would most want to emulate? Applejack or Rarity. For different reasons.

What strengths do you like and want to pick up from the Mane 6? Well, I’d like to display all the elements of harmony better. Become more patient, a harder worker and relate to others better.

Yeah, on repeate viewings I thought this episode was fine. My mum and my sis really liked it (though they too were a little put off by Ponyville's OOC ness)

Honest question: What makes you say that?

I ask because, well, I rather liked that episode (I remember saying it was my season 2 favorite at the time), so I may not be in the best position to notice what the bad parts of it were.

The second season has been completely awesome so far. But they're not all equally awesome. Sisterhooves Social just didn't excite me that much, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It was still better than a large portion of season 1.

EDIT: By the way, I also LOVED Pinkie in this episode. I hope this is Character Development rather than an Out-of-Character Moment.

I to think that Sisterhoof Social was least awesome (it to good do be called worst). I liked this episode but in the end all other episode from this season was better.

Horever it may change because next episode don't sound that cool. Horever maybe it suprise me, or maybe even with song.
