@ginger: to be fair, the guard deals with mundane threats that the Princesses can't possibly be expected to deal with constantly because otherwise they'll never have time to move the Sun and Moon.

Yeah, but I don't think the series is ever entirely consistent on this point.

I mean, we've seen them eat cakes and have references to infer that they also eat potato chips, pie, toast and eggs, and I'm not sure about the first three but eggs are considered a meat product in some categorizations. So I think exactly how horse-like the ponies are depends on the writer and their inclination at the time.

Personally in fanfiction I have them being strictly grain-eaters, except for one possibly-insane pony.

Vegetarians eat eggs to. Don't confuse them with vegans.

@Ace, I know, I was more refering to equestria during times of war. I don't think the sisters would want to endanger their subjects if they can help it. So they'd fight off entire armies by themselves.

The series is only entirely consistent on Fluttershy being best pony^W^W^W^W some of the basic setting elements.

@death cloud: Tirac has a sizeable dragonhorde to unleash in battle and has a Dark Rainbow that would require the Elements of Harmony to counter. Not to mention ordinary ponies like the Flower Trio would just panic.

Just wondering: Does anyone ship the flower trio?

Darn, I was SO close to catching up, but I really need sleep. Curse you guys for your incredibly entertaining Peeler fanon. I've been behind for a week and I just read nearly 100 pages because I didn't want to skip any of it.

Regardless, I'm skipping forward to get my WMG out in the open because I haven't seen anyone else suggest it.

The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well's identity won't actually be revealed in this episode. Then, later in the season we'll be introduced to a new secondary character. Near (or in) the finale, they'll be revealed to be one and the same in a twist that the Bronies have long since figured out (probably as soon as the new character was introduced).

Tirac don't have real dragons. And his minion are treat for G1 ponies. They are not much of a treat for Equestrian armed forces or other badass ponies like Appleloosans. Rainbow of Darkness was easy beated by Rainbow of Light what is far below Element of Harmony because Smooze beated Ro L with no problems.

It really isn't that. When someone else disagrees with me I'll argue back sure, but I don't get mad at them unless I'm having a bad day.
