RD was stumbling around during her display of Boxing (I think)

No I'm not, I'm stating fact.

Btw, I now imagine RD as being quite tall, while AJ is avearge height (but stout and buff) if they were humans. This could explain AJ losing to RD in the wrestling...she has longer grip and better leverage.

You all bringing RD rainbow nuking that barn, but who was tactical genius behind that nuking - AJ.

And what who/what is remember if fiction for succesfull use of nukes? Of course comander who used nuke, not nuke itself.

Sheridan not those nukes was famous (infamous) for destroying Blackstar (only enemy warship destroyed in hopeless war)

For now it was only barn but later who know :P

RD is awesome, but AJ is a different kind of awesome. RD has agility and speed, but AJ has strength and stamina.

EDIT: I would also call AJ, if not smarter, then wiser than RD.

@Ginger: Calling RD awesome doesn't make any statement about the other ponies. I mean, you have to admit that stuff like flying so fast that you bust the visible light spectrum is impressive.

And yeah, Applejack is definitely wiser than RD.

Y'know, I can imagine AJ fighting like a boxer, then if she started losing she'd wheel around and start KICK-boxing.

(which would be much more powerful than her normal boxing, revealing that she'd been holding herself back until then )

Actually, I would call AJ the wisest of the Mane 6 thinking about it. For example, Twilight is smart, but not wise it seems.

Uh, there weren't any "tactics" involved in nuking the barn. AJ basically told RD to knock it down, and she did. You don't really need a strategy to blow up a building that's falling apart on it's own anyway.

Another RD vs AJ discussion I see. Yeah, I never really put all that much stock in the sonic rainnuke. Also RD has awesome friends that she so totally doesn't deserve.

Well, they use saddlebags to carry stuff, much like a backpack. Without a saddle, those bags fall off, making them entirely useless.

Saddles seem to be treated in a similar way to a belt. Plus they're the base piece for most of the dresses, so there's that.

As far as AJ goes, she runs and owns a fairly big business, so presumably she would have a lot of good business sense. Since we've already covered the case where a fight breaks out, what about an episode where they need to do a big fundraiser and AJ is all like "stand aside, y'all" and then 'BAM! Instantly successful campaign!'?

Also she's got to be pretty competent at Meteorology since she's in charge of the weather. So that lends her some points for being smart.

I'm trying to take from this discussion which pony lines up with which Dungeons & Dragons attribute (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma), but for some reason AJ seems to take two, maybe three, and that doesn't quite seem fair.

So either AJ has to cede Constitution, Strength or possibly Wisdom to somepony, or we need to invent an Adorableness stat for Fluttershy and a Weirdness stat for Pinkie.

Because WITH the wings there's NO POSSIBLE WAY FOR AJ to compete? It wouldn't come down to whose the better athlete, it'd come down to who was born with the better equipment. Which wasn't the point of the contest.

She's already done more than ALL OF THE OTHER PONIES PUT TOGETHER! Does she really need any more fucking praise?!
