Technically, Death is the only one who's actually named.

And I prefer Conquest to Pestilence, even though that's the one people commonly use. Pestilence doesn't even make sense since it doesn't talk about disease.

Isn't Conquest very similar to War though? Pestilence and Famine are at least very distinct

Still, if none of them are named except for Death, then I'd rather think of the other 3 as VERY different causes of Death. Pestilence, War, and Famine sounds more varied than Conquest, War, and Famine wouldn't you agree?

Yeah, pestilence really never made sense to me, since that horseman doesn't bring disease.

The closest "Official" names would be Conquest (or Victory, depending how you translate it; it seems to be different from the other horses) (white horse), War (red horse), Famine(Black Horse), and Death (Pale/Greenish horse).

So we'd have:

Conquest: Celestia
War: Big Mac
Famine: Luna (makes sense with the whole "eternal night" thing)
Death: Derpy/Ditzy (because why not?)

Yeah, that's pretty much why. Conquest would be more like being oppressed under the thumb of any obviously superior enemy. War would be constant back and forth with no end in sight. It's a bit different.

Based on their descriptions in the Bible, "Inflation" actually fits better than "Famine" (though those are associated). "Pestilence" really doesn't make sense. Those that interpret one as "Conquest" usually interpret "War" as "Infighting". Two different types of violence.

Kinda. More like the general idea of the four horsemen as it's passed into popular conscious. I doubt we'll go into any more detail as religion is quite possibly the single greatest piece of Flame Bait ever, and I'd rather not fight about it.

EDIT: And yeah, the Peeler pics have been great. Still not sure whether I prefer him with or without the beard.

Yeah, it's been quite a bonfire so far,

but I think Peeler could be tweaked so as to still work if that happens. He's not concrete enough yet to run the risk of being completely burned away.
