I meant they assumed that she'd gotten out of the avalanche and had flown ahead of them (like she'd been doing for the entire race). They probably thought she was waiting for them at the finish line.

Pretty good episode. I admit that I still think the turtle winning was a bit cliche, but it was pretty awesome how it was able to help Rainbow out like that. I felt sorry for the falcon, though.

Y'know, Tank winning is a bit cliched and predictable...just like how Sisterhooves Social was predicable...and yet the creators made a predictable plot enjoyable!

This show is in some great hands.

My guess is that they knew she was back there, but figured that she'd be fine on her own. Heck, it took RD a few seconds to realize that she was stuck; the animals would have been out of earshot by the time she started calling for help.

And yeah, the turtle winning was a bit cliche, but It's not like most of us didn't think that that was going to happen. And the actual target demographic probably doesn't think it's that cliched.

I don't think it really matters whether they knew or didn't, or whether they would have saved her or not. The fact is that Tank was the one who saved her and she was indebted to him. Probably not fair, but that is what happened.

Yes. They were all focused on winning, and they flew ahead before Rainbow thought of crying out. Really, it wasn't malicious on their part. And it also isn't true that Rainbow just blew them all off after that. Heck, Rainbow was really conflicted about choosing Tank over the falcon. After all, all of them had qualities deserving of the win. I think that her feeling indebted to the tortoise, as well as feeling sorry for belittling him the whole time and being superficial in her decision up until that point was what swayed her.

Exactly!

You could tell from the start of the song that Tank was going to win, and you could even see RD starting to warm up to him by the radicalness competition, but it was still a fun ride the whole way through. That's why I don't get people complaining about the predictability. It's still fun, even if it is predictable. And anyways, most of the fun of shows and movies is the getting there more than the end. You don't watch a movie to find out if the good guy wins, you watch it to see how he wins
