What about RD's backstory?

People seem to assume a lot of things about Rainbow Dash's backstory that do make some sense, but lack actual canon support. Like. . .

Fluttershy and her were friends before Ponyville and went to the same flight school. the problem with this is we only know that they met in flight camp once. If they are such old friends we would have heard more about their time together. And besides they certainly don't act like old friends, especially not Rainbow Dash.

Or, that Gilda and RD spent a lot time and went the same flight school. I think from what we saw in Griffion A Brush Off it is more likely that they never saw each other much outside of the Junior Speedsters. I think it explains some of Dash's reactions in the episode.

Will we ever see Celestia use the Royal Canterlot Voice?

I hope so, but doubt it. Maybe in a flashback?

This amuses me more than it should.

I'm gonna think of ponies every time I play that game now.

I really like Luna but I agree with Ginger that Celestia is more interesting and more developed.

We need to see more about Celestia's true personality ( her without having to be on duty as princess or mentor)

Honestly, the only reason I prefer Celestia is because she's a Magnificent Bitch (my favourite kind of character) and I always found light based gods cooler than night based ones

Celestia's also got this weird "close to but also rather detatched" thing going on regarding her subjects. She cares about them deeply, but not on a particularly personal level.

I want her to use the voice when things start going to shit (like maybe she could give a speech to all of Equestria at some point)

Admit it, Celestia's OOC moments are some of the best in the show (her WTF face for example)

Hell, even STERN Celestia is awesome in Lesson Zero.

In fact, her Big Damn Heroes moment in that episode is one of my favourite scenes in the entire series.

and when she raised her eyebrow at the mane 6.

Oh yeah I loved that scene . When she made them believe that she would punish twilight.

The Fascinating Eyebrow made me laugh XD

They look really similar. Sparkler is darker, purple hair, and has gems for a cutie mark. Seafoam is lighter, blueish hair, dolphin cutie mark, and is the one that actually said "Muffins" (alright, that's debatable, but whatever :P)

[My last forum experience was about 10 years ago and Im always pretty nervous about that, so please forgive me if I'm slow to respond ]

I'm a 28 years old male geek from Germany and discovered the show and its fandom a few months ago. Now I'm insanely ponyddicted, but have nopony to share my enthusiasm with :(. So I spent the last weeks reading this entire thread (pretty much feels like all of you are already acquaintances of mine ^^) and now I've worked up the courage to post here :)).
