What's the size difference between Pip and his dad?

I could imagine him being able to hold pip in his hooves (like Timmy's dad can do in FOP)

Because I'm sure that's what he's referencing?

That is exactly what I'm referencing.

As a bit of a joke,

Peeler could be huge (enough to rival Mac in stature). And it could be implied that Pip will grow huge as well.

Also, I can't shake off the Stout Strength trope when dealing with his appearance.

Yeah, I'm imagining Peeler being pretty big myself. As far as ponies go I think they're supposed to be fairly large. Though if we're calling it by horse breed that would make them appaloosas, which are show horses, as opposed to draft like Big Mac is modeled after. Although here's something interesting about that - his patience and persistence line sort of implies he's a determinator type, right? The appaloosa breed is bred for 'endurance running''.

I'n sort of imagining Peeler acting a lot like Timmy's dad with Pip - except with, you know, all the unintentional child abuse.

Could she be distantly related to the Apple family?

Thing is, when you tower over everyone else, it's easier to command respect.

The one time I was pulled over (fined for using my phone ), the Cop had to be about 6 foot 6. Needless to say, he instantly got all the respect my 5 foot 10 frame could muster.

I could see him having a very rugged sort of handsomness, yeah. Like, Commander Carrot sort of thing. An attractiveness sort of born out of that uprightness, but he doesn't tend to realize it. If he is a single father, I can't really imagine him dating at all.

Well groomed as well. Everything must be in order!

And yeah, he wouldn't have the time for dating...awww wait,

I just remembered that PPG episode were the Prof. goes to bed sad and alone, looking at his big empty bed.

The Thing with Timmy's Parents is that they do show to love him dearly when they're with him, and even when they have scenes on their own they care about him a lot - there was a subplot in one of the movies where they worry that they lie to him too much - it's just that they happen to be really, really neglectful of him. They're both essentially Adult Children, so you can imagine how that would go.

And, well, geeze. Now you've got me wanting to ship him too.

I think the general idea is either Applejack or Rarity is the oldest.
