I'd like to hang out with Twilight. For some reason, I can't see myself getting along with AJ or RD. Rarity seems nice, but she'd probably be to busy. Pinkie's too energetic, and Fluttershy would be hiding. Although, if we're picking people not in the Mane 6, I'd definitely love to hang out with Spike.

Man, my pagetoppers lately have been really good. I'm on a roll.

I'd probably hang out with Twist or the CMC (I love children, so sue me). I would definitely hang with Spike as my first choice and probably Big Macintosh.

As I said, I'd love to make sweets with Twist! Hell, I'd hug her the second I saw her!

Which Mane 6 would I hang ou with? Well I think My first choise would actually be Pinkie Pie. I can see myself having alot of fun with her, and I could handle any odd moments from her.

So I guess my second choise would be Fluttershy, If I could actually get past her shyness. I just think my own shyness and love of animals would allow me to get along well with her. (I call myself shy, yet my first choise is Pinkie Pie? That makes sence seeing how Pinkie is more or less the opposite of shyness... I have a different kind of shyness I guess. Its sort of a mix of shy and recluse, but not people fearing, if that makes sence).

I would also enjoy Twilights company, but I wouldn't want to be with Rarity for alot amount of time (opposed personalities), or RD/AJ (I'm too inactive for them, though not unfit).

I wrote alot more on this than I expected... I may like Ponies ^_^.

I still like the idea of an episode where the CMC skip school, and Big Mac hunts them down to save them from Applejack's wrath. He needs some characterization.

Yay! My episode idea!

First pick would definitely be Applejack. She seems to be the most down-to-earth (hah!) of the six, and I wouldn't mind helping out on the farm, if it comes to that. She'll probably drag me over for supper with the family, but eh, maybe Big Mac will end up saying more than just "Eyup".

Second pick... Twilight. I'd be busy asking about how magic works, and she would be busy wondering what in the world a "human" is and how I got there in the first place.

On second thought, that wouldn't really be "hanging out", would it?

Supper with the Apples would be AWESOME!! (I think I'd get sick of apple based produce by the end of it though XD )

When I say Fluttershy, I'm assuming that by "hanging out" it means that all the 'getting to know them, luring Fluttershy out of her shell' etc stuff has already been taken care of. Otherwise the question is "which would you rather be introduced to" rather than "which would you hang out with".

I still like to think that there were four other ponies that used the elements along with Celestia and Luna. Given how they've been shown to work it makes more sense than Celestia using all six herself, and if they couldn't find a replacement for Luna it could explain why they were only able to banish her. Without all six they couldn't purify her completely. Then the other four became stars to keep Luna company/eventually free her.

These other 4 have never been mentioned. Not during the NM incident, nor the time they sealed away Discord.

Celestia wouldn't hog the spotlight from her subjects. They'd have a stained glass window too.

I'm still of the opinion that Luna was able to resonate with Celestia from within NM

Dorku: Hmm, how about I put it like this: someone takes you to a get together of some sort where you get to meet all six ponies and have an hour or two to talk to them as a group, so you'd be relatively familiar with them, although it would still be a first meeting (so Fluttershy most likely wouldn't be entirely out of her shell, but probably not totally mortified of you either). Then after that you have to make a decision of which pony to hang out with and get to know better.

Hey, I'm entitled to baseless headcanon. If there were other element wielders they wouldn't be mentioned in the show until they were relevant, so the lack of mention so far doesn't mean anything.

No one knew what the 6th element was until the Mane 6 defeated NM.

Obviously Celestia knew.

There's a difference between "there are five elements" and "there are six elements but we don't know what the last one is".

I wonder how much Discord knows about the elements.

He himself refers to Twilight's as "The most powerful and elusive element" so I don't think that one was ever used on him. (at least when Celestia and Luna had them)
