Why?

• Her name starts with Tea so does TV Tropes.
• Green and Blue colour scheme (like the tvtropes logo).
• Tea is the best drink of all time.
• She actually has a name.

I think I could win Dash over with video games, if I brought a TV and something else. I like animals so I could help Fluttershy, and I like to read so I could hang with Twilight...

I'm not really one for farmwork though, so Applejack would be out. Don't really like to be fancy like Rarity, either XD

So why haven't there been any songs yet?

Maybe they decided to have Pinkie Pie stop doing her random songs? At this point last season, she's the only one who did any songs.

tbh... Pinkie would be my 3rd choice after AJ and Twilight as the pony I'd most like to hang out with. My issue isn't with Pinkie's personality. It's with Pinkie's personality, when applied to the role she plays in the story.

In the context of a friendly get together, I wouldn't mind hanging out with her at all. She's not much zanier than some of my closest friends

I guess I would like to meet...erm, oh...Twilight, I guess. Pinkie Pie would exhaust me (though I'd be happy for her to do so). I don't think Rarity would appreicate my uncouth mannerisms. I'm quiet, so that means awkward silences between me and Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash...

...let's just say I'd probably have not so friendly words with her before long.

Edit: I second Badwolfwho's motion to make Tealove the mascot of this thread.

Probably I'd hang out with Fluttershy and AJ the most. If I could fly (say I was magically turned into a pegasus) I'd want Dash to teach me tricks.

Seriously, does anyone remember Fluttershy's introduction? I can't see her socialising with ANYONE easily.

Hehe, I guess I should answer my own question. I like how many people had to cross of Twilight (and I'm adding myself to the count). Yay for purple pony love.

After some thought, surprisingly, my choice would be Pinkie Pie (second favourite overall is Fluttershy). Despite her antics, a one on one with her personality type would definitely bring out the goofy streak I occasionally show and then we'd have lots and lots of fun.

I ended up crossing off Fluttershy because my own shyness would probably resonate with hers and if I couldn't get her to talk within a few minutes, observers would end up thinking we're having a match of the quiet game. Dashie and Rarity are both too far removed from my personality for it to not be a gamble whether we'd click or not. AJ was actually just a bit behind Pinkie, but my urge for goofiness won out.

I can't see that going terribly at all.

@Applelight Limited: Sure, why not? Never cared much for tea, or thought that we needed a mascot, but yeah. Why not?

Maybe it's because (ironically) Twilight is the most normal and accessible out of all the ponies.

I think Rarity's the one I'd most likely stay away from. We just wouldn't get along. Like, AT ALL

There's more to getting along with someone than simply sharing common interests. It depends on their attitude as well. Twilight seems very approachable in this regard.

Pinkie Pie would be even more approachable. The rest would probably vary depending on what they had to do that day.

Despite her initial anti-social attitude, Twilight has always seemed like an approachable person...pony, who's easy to strike up converstation with.

Fluttershy however, is not. She's nice, but she seems terrified of meeting new people.
