Funnily enough, Hasbro experimented with My Little Kitty, Puppy, and Murmaid in the 90s. By all reports, it went as well as you'd expect.

I only microwave M&C to reheat it. Real Macroni and cheese requires you to boil the water in a pan and pour the cheese powder out of that little packet in the box.

Forget powder, use some cheese. I go with a fourth cheddar and the rest mozzarela, and mix some keyan peppers and bacon.

I prefer my M&C with tuna mixed in. I just about never make it, though; I usually just make a big batch of spaghetti sauce, stick it in the fridge, and then make noodles whenever I'm hungry.

Or not. I make my sauce so thick it's practically chili, so I eat it by itself often as not. Or else I make some garlic bread and eat it as a sandwich.

on the subject of the mane 6 as other animals. there's a fanfic that everybody should read.

The Slug Life

is the mane 6 as sea slugs. As in, completely realistic, real life sea slugs. and somehow, it works.

it's only a little over 1k words long, you have no excuse not to try it out.

Ugh, fish with cheese? I think I'll pass. I should note that I do make legit mac and cheese on occasion, but I'm not above using easy mac if I'm in a rush.

Meh I don't know they look really odd as moles. The artist makes them look very fat and ugly to me. It's like a mutation process between a mole and the Mane Six.

Not that bad? Then what the hell do you call Cupcakes then? It was MADE by the same fanbase for god's sake! The fanbase alone has made dark stuff that could rival Nightmare on Elm Street in terms of Nightmarish elements and yet you say these images are "not that bad"?!

I call Cupcakes an over-the-top, self-indulgent piece of rubbish that tries far to hard to shock its audience. Torture porn is never creepy, only gross. Now Gothic Horror with the focus on otherness, otherworldliness, and madness? That is frightening. Cartoon horses butchering each other is not. Goodnight.

That was the origin the last I heard it. The author was tired of the large amount of PinkieDash shipping at the time, so they wrote it in order to get at them. Sort of tricking them with the start before it all goes cut-uppy.

Yeah, I've always thought it was way too over the top to take seriously.
