If you want to like Fluttershy again, don't read pattycakes, that fic will put Fluttershy on the permanent scrappy list for you Starscream.

@fake episode summaries: A Friend in Deed is about Pinkie having to use her Pinkie Sense to find the deed to Cranky's new house in Ponyville, otherwise he won't be able to keep his house and will have to move away just as he's found out that Matilda lives in Ponyville.

I haven't read Pattycakes, but based on the trope page, every single character except RD is massively OOC and evil.

@Storyyeller Oh ya don't know the half of it but I'm glad it's over now and I didn't even think that an episode involving Fluttershy would make me rage so much to the point where I would regard it as the worst in the series for me. Most bad episodes on this show are either ranging from tediously boring to stupidly annoying but Putting your Hoof Down is just mean spirited far beyond the standards of a typical episode of MLP. And it really didn't need to be on this level of awfulness. Yes it's an episode that she needed to be developed in but I do really think it was handled horribly.

@Japanese Teeth At least in The Best Night Ever she WAS in character because she was only trying to be friends with the animals at the gala. Here though she goes waaaay out of character and does things that not even Discord Fluttershy did in the two parter episode involving Discord.
